Report: 14 billion dollar deal for Bullet train from Houston to Dallas is done
No. No. No. You're for public funding of an alternative mode of transit between two cities that already have multiple modes available. The hsr isn't being built to replace 18 wheelers. It's to move business commuters from Houston to Dallas. Again, fine. Just as long as it's privately funded.

You realize 10 and 20 serve slightly more than West Texas.... or I guess you don't. So interstate 10 runs through like 8 states. It wasn't built just to serve West Texas.

You're referencing 10 and 20? Part of the FEDERAL highway system?

Report: 14 billion dollar deal for Bullet train from Houston to Dallas is done
Few things I skimmed from this report: Walking and biking have virtually no impact on roads (and co2 emmissions) The government spends more on roads than bike paths, mass transit, etc. combined. The gas tax is woefully low - but that's ok, because the government pisses away money like they don't care. Sales tax exemption on the gas taxes (as a subsidy) figure prominently in the analysis - between 15 to 30 percent of overall "costs". Not sure why this is pointed out because - govt sucks. So you're STILL ok with the citizens of Texas - some 20+ million subsidizing the travel of another 3 million? Remember, the report you pointed out says the government sucks at this sort of thing. If you said - flood, you fucking asshole - double the gas tax. I'm down. It hasn't gone up for like 30 years. It's time. But public financing of this is ludicrous. Oh and when you get into your hybrid, should you be charged extra for road usage? Since you pay no gas tax at all?

Report: 14 billion dollar deal for Bullet train from Houston to Dallas is done
So to be clear. You are in favor of 22-25 million Texans subsidizing hsr that most will never use.

6 million yearly by 2030 and 13 million a year by 2050 - so say the projections. Again. If it's privately funded? Awesome!

Centerville/Central Texas.... I see where you're going..... My suggestion is you/users pay for it. Not the rest of the state that will see no benefit.

Yes. The more I use the roads the more I pay in tax.
-
Report: 14 billion dollar deal for Bullet train from Houston to Dallas is done
We have roads. Already pay for them. They are "looking for private investors". Let's keep it private imo.

About those LSU 'heat' cramps free timeouts
Looks like he has a master's degree from lsu. Is that like a 9th or 10th grade education in most other states?

Great. So you teach manners but not reading or math.

Orgeron Out-Coached Herman
This would have been a much different ballgame with healthy running backs. Ingram wasn't right. And Herman sometimes is too much coordinator and not enough head coach. Coordinator says this is what play I would call on 4th and goal. Coach says kick the field goal

LSU @ Texas Analysis: LSU Offense
So we beat a team 55-3 (42-3 half), we're 7-7 in redzone, gave up zero sacks. And our o-line is "pretty bad". How exactly does that work? I think it's pretty safe to say you don't know shit. You beat a bad team and during that win your O-line looked mediocre. It's not that hard to figure out. I get it. Y'all score, you eat a corndog. You don't really watch the game. Burrow is decent, your rb's look to have talent. The D is the best part of your team. But your O-line isn't good.
