  1. Do you have any connections with school personnel? Personally know a teacher, avp, principal etc? There's an infrastructure there (and probably available during summer) and may be an avenue without going to the cops.
  2. Have the Hamilton Beach model. It takes forever to make a pot or cup. The k-cup needle gets clogged easily..... Looking for recommendation as well
  3. Just bought a 15 with under 40k miles. Couple things I advise. Don't buy a '12. Tons of problems from what I researched. Carfax.com is a great way to narrow down. I settled on model, features etc and kept searching till found exact Jeep at price I wanted to pay. Fucking love driving daily.
  4. Stick to a robotic that has local warranty. Love my robotic BUT they're expensive to fix. As much as I hate Leslie's, they do warranty. I'd buy whatever your local store supports.
  5. Washington leaving office after 2 terms Emancipation proclamation Gettysburg address Wickard v filburn Vietnam war
  6. All I know is Kevlar will be with my kids on 1st day of school next year.
  7. Nothing with "rational" and "discussion" is allowed in the cloak room. The Hugo out front should have told you.
  8. If you think pool motors are over-priced, these things are fucking stupid.
  9. Rule 5, rule 8. Repeat and hope you never get to 12
  10. May of '73 to August of '74. May of '17 to August of 18. Cool
  11. This Leonard Blavatnik is a rich dude. Shocked he hasn't been wining/dining American political class and showering them with money for decades.
  12. Check label on ingredients Looks to be made by HTH. Non-foaming algaecide and those are fairly generic. Tabs, shock and borates are all most pools need. If you let a pool get out of hand and get an algae bloom. Sodium bromide and shock to remediate.
  13. Home Depot will usually carry on 2 gallon packs of muriatic. Fuck Leslie's and their phosphate obsession. That 80$ bottle costs them probably less than 15. If you're having issues with algae on chlorine then add borates. Removes the carbon dioxide, makes the water pretty and is a great buffer for pH fluctuations.
  14. Well, why don't you tell the class DD? How many?
  15. You shouldn't be losing more water with your features running than without them running. I'm in Houston and just added water today after.... 6 weeks or so.... Can't really remember.
  16. You shouldn't be seeing a noticeable difference in water loss running the falls.....
  17. If we only win 6 games I'm going to have to check on a Costco discount to buy at least 3 new TV'S
  18. Are there any water features? If so, the more you run the more it will cool the water. Glacier pool coolers do a good job cooling the water as do tropicool heatpumps. Not cheap, but a solution.
  19. Homeschooling senior project.
  20. Absolutely. Affluent suburban kids have opportunities to really fuck up. And they'll have more opportunities to fix their lives than poor kids. Those opportunities don't come out of a vacuum. It can take generations, or one really luck generation, to get to that point. If you're a single parent your over riding goal should to give your kid(s) the chance to have a life with more opportunity than you may have had. And teach them to pass along the same ethic. Change doesn't happen in a decade. It takes generations.
  21. I wouldn't presume to know why a community may struggle, but can make an educated guess based on what I know about why individuals succeed or fail.
