  1. Our pediatrician told us that it doesn't impact over long term.
  2. bump. I've got an ADHD kid and he takes contempla. It has worked wonders for school but I'm terrified of what we are doing to him over the longer term. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/13/magazine/adhd-medication-treatment-research.html
  3. Society needs pga and mickelson needs us open to complete the slam? Spieth maybe if he gets hot but no way for Phil
  4. Pumped! Pulling hard for Rory even though I’m a Bryson fan too.
  5. 5% in your nominal annual payment. Just regular inflation of 2% (ha) would mean your purchasing power would be half as much in 20 years
  6. So what are you telling your clients. Seeing some of your other posts elsewhere makes me think you're not the most unbiased investor Vol is back on the menu for a while. But yes, we will go down more. Still haven't had the puke AAPL will a great way to play max fear re China. When all hope is lost (think when Brisket starts posting in all caps and in bold regarding WW3 and nukes and shit), buy Apple.
  7. Kyle Porter (some golf nerd) pointed out that 10 of the last 12 Masters winners were at 1.7 SF tee to green or better in the three months leading into the masters (Fat Pat Reed and Hideki were the two that weren't). Here's the list: Morikawa: 2.6 rory: 2.2 Scheffler: 2.13 Niemann: 1.88 Lowry: 1.85 Canter: 1.78 Fleetwood: 1.75
  8. For these kinds of market reactions there are only a few time frames that have ever been this volatile. 1929 on a few dates, 1933 on a few, 1940, 1987, 2008 on a few, and 2020. So this, and what looks like tomorrow has in store for us, are effectively unprecedented. Unprecedented because those other dates had severe issues going on with global economy. This is happening due to one person. The messaging of ‘reciprocal’ prior to throwing out what is now viewed as haphazard, at best, is what has caused the current calamity. I’d also caution against expecting a snap back rally ala April 2020. Besides the lack of a liquify hose, given this was caused by poor tariff messaging /clear goals out of djt , uncertainty is now higher and will/should force a downward rerate on multiples
  9. @TexArcher with some excellent advice. Note that I believe the Hang Seng was closed Friday so its just playing catch up today.
  10. I don't know who this twitter person is so don't attack. But they have a nice chart from Goldman that shows import amounts from 2024, effective tariffs in 2024, and changes based on yesterday's announcement
  11. Watched this about 30 times https://x.com/TheMasters/status/1901712202198929504
  12. This company has always been 'overpriced' but once investors realized half the country would never support anything Elon touches again, then gravity would take hold. No different on Moderna and the right wingers that refuse mRNA based therapies.
  13. I giggled at 'Fat Nixon' that I saw earlier today
  14. They did a E round in the spring of 2023 at a $1B pre. Raised $75mm. Then did another another round a year later at a $1.4B pre. On 263mm in rev...for water.
  15. I've got 17 on ignore. Some are dead, some have been banned, and a few still active 1. Forced the board to change the name of multiple threads and has one economic tune that he sings no matter what. 2. Hamas simp 3. futureman 4. Bot/russian troll. Loves to show up around election time then disappears. 5. sucked dick for crack or something 6. prolific negger
  16. I just read that thread. Some of the most frequent posters on this site are mentally ill.
  17. I'm not crazy, look at this long back and forth I've had with a random dude from the internet. He's the crazy one. I'm totes normal
  18. such a beautiful tribute. You're a great writer Brisket. I dread what you're dealing with as my Dad is my best friend, as he was with his father. Dad and I were by my grandfather's bed when he passed and he told me afterwards that he expects me with him when he goes.
  19. CSB, my father in law dated a Marcello before he married my MIL. The broke up once one of the brothers told him it would be a bad idea to keep seeing her.
  20. How much incremental production do you think we have in the US? Any offset of that increased amount by sanctions on Iran/Russia?
