  13. Read somewhere the buyback tax in the bill the senate just passed does t kick in until 2023. Might have some buyback activity get pulled forward that could give some bounce
  14. Pharma companies have shifted their r&d spending to acquisitions because the hit rate on internal r&d was so low. Regardless, that guy sucks. And I don't see too many cures for cancer or alzheimers.....only treatments. As the man said, more money being made treating a disease than curing it
  15. No troll, just giving the opposite 'prospective' (and I even edited, no sleep make babydaddy something something)
  16. This is ridiculous. I'll rewrite it from the opposite prospective: "Biden is too old to be president and I only voted for him because of my disdain for Trump. But he is the worst fucking president (and his polling confirms it). The last two weeks have been "good" which ironically coincides with him battling Covid and being quarantined. His Fed is has caused the stock market to vomit all over itself for the year, inflation is as bad as it's been since early 80's while the labor participation rate is collapsing and real wages are declining. His SoS and DoD fucked up the Afghanistan withdrawal leaving dead US soldiers and retaliated by murdering afghani kids all while returning Afghan to the Taliban and Al Qaeda. That Afghanistan shit show encouraged Russia to invade Ukraine while murdering and raping their way through the country (with a bonus of increasing oil revenues into Russia and creating a global food and energy shortage going into winter). He tried to mitigate the energy issue by begging a journalist murdering dictator to produce more oil and he got a middle finger in return for his fist bump. And now he’s about to pass a bill that I believe will assfuck every tax payer in the US while continuing to give the richest of the rich unfair tax treatment. He's also overseen a new global health emergency given his messaging ability is potato"
  17. Nope. Anonymous people are cunts on the internet, news at 5
  18. The guy that I've read a lot from on the bill is Liam Donovan and Burgess Everett. They don't seem to be partisan to me. The main thing in the bill that I'm not a very big fan of is the additional $80 billion or so to the IRS. They aren't just going after rich folks with that kinda fire power. I also do not like that it changes depreciation rules for capital investment. You'd think the government would want to encourage more investment rather than punish. It's going to pass, too. The Senior Senator from Arizona will get what she wants and it will pass. Manchin gets his pipeline finished which can unfuck natgas prices. Intention is to migrate the country to more renewables while supporting traditional hydrocarbons, which is the rational approach. We will see. As for the thing actually reducing inflation, I'll take the opposite because government.
  19. there are only two ways to look at that production 'increase'. It's either a 'fuck you' to Biden or an admission they have no additional capacity.
  20. What is the typical prognosis of someone gets it? Scabby and sick for a week and then immune? Long term disease problems? What?
