then at the end of the article it says:
Young is the latest in a long list of veteran artists that have recently sold at least part of their publishing rights to music investment firms
So who knows who made the call. They might have needed to renegotiate the deal given it clearly reduced the revenue royalty stream Hipgnosis paid for.
