Maybe I'm wrong, but I seem to also recall a play where he gets a piece of the ball carrier (or QB) in the backfield and starts celebrating with his back to the ball, and the carrier wasn't even down yet [luckily, someone cleaned up].
It's almost as if he is playing in a total fog. I love Hagar but there is something not right with him right now.

Watched the reply tonight and there's one play where Hagar is pointing to the Texas sideline celebrating the previous play and isn't even lined up for the next play. He seems like he is in his own little world.

If Boyd is a future legit NFL corner then I'm a male supermodel. Pretty sure Jones isn't leaving early for the NFL also. If he does he may be going the free agent route.
-
Please get Jones out of the game.
-
Looks like T Boone's check cleared.
-
God, Jones is awful. Just awful.

At least Ehlinger isn't scared. Can he play defense.
-
Wasn't Jones late to a meeting as well. He's been late on every play.

I am hearing from a private thread I have with some buddies that Sanders and Cain could conceivably both come our way. It is a stretch at this point, but not out of the question, particularly if we keep winning I imagine.
5 Star LB Marcel Brooks evidently is talking with Texas as well. If that's true and we are able to land Johnson (which I really want due to the law of conservation of Linebackers named "Johnson" or "Jefferson"), then our LB corps could be sick in another year or two!
I wonder if people see the defense we are putting together if that might start attracting those high 4 star and 5 star DL recruits, which is now our weakest recruiting area.Daniel Figerelli?(sp)

mop was around on the last site. Unless some aggy got way more clever than I think they're capable of.
The aggy is only clever when it comes to sheep studies.

Come to Texas and party in VIP at ACL. Or go to aggy and play dominoes at a hillbilly bar.
Any questions?
Don't forget you get to dress up like scooby doo on Halloween in said hillbilly bar.

now that players are skipping bowl games, i can see them skipping the last half of their JR year, maybe in October, to prep for the draft. CFB has been declining due to early exits, imagine the old days when super players stayed for SR years, we had loaded upperclassmen on top teams, now the layer of greatness is halved.
I'm surprised they don't skip their Jr year completely.

1. Large organizations are risk averse
2. Core competency is taking dogshit programs and building them into respectable hover around the bottom half of the Top 25 programs
3. Big time college football teams don't seem themselves as needing a coach with that particular core competency
4. Large organizations are risk averse
Pirate is entertaining as hell, and not saying it is right but most big time programs don't want what they think could be a bit of a loose cannon at their helm
Especially at the helm of a pirate ship.

ESPN found a family of them and spent the entire game talking about it.
Yeah, I think their son plays some position on Baylor's team. I hear he's pretty good. I wonder if Texas offered him a scholarship.

Why do people feel the need to tell us they root for certain players or coaches? If you are a fan of UT, you obviously are going to want them to win, no matter the players or coaches.
No, as a fan I don't care who is in there I just want them to play well to help the team win the game. Shane is very likable and more difficult for me to say get him the hell out of there. Some fans don't like particular players/coaches and at the first misstep say get them out of there. That being said I have no doubt that Shane will not succeed at Texas. He just doesn't have the intestinal fortitude that the QB position at UT requires.
