  3. Texas: Pushed in Michigan’s shit in Ann Arbor, made conference title game in best conference, took a second loss while Ohio State had its tiny dick in its hand at home. Ohio State: Lost to Michigan at home, touches itself at night. Analysis over.
  4. Also it’ll never happen, but to help incentivize the bye further and make CCG mean more, have the first round games with the 5 through 12 seeds at the neutral bowl sites currently slated for the QFs, then have the QFs on campus at the bye seed’s stadium instead.
  5. The issue with giving conference champs a bye is it can dilute the better seeds and push down better teams into the 7-10 range, which is why people are griping about Oregon’s draw. I agree with Huck’s approach that the top 4 conference winners should be guaranteed a top 8 seed (and at least hosting a home game) but nothing beyond that. So you’d have Boise the 7 (maybe better, can’t remember where they were ranked before this week) and AZ State the 8. Let’s say there’s a year where Oregon and Michigan both go 12-0 (don’t play each other) and then play in the Big 10 title game. Why should the loser be the 5 seed?
  6. Notre Dame isn’t the same team they were in September. They’ve been mauling people for six weeks and are a legit contender.
  7. Under the hypothetical Texas/Oregon matchup…would Oregon still pick Arlington (less travel, on a faster indoor track) even if it’s a de facto road game?
  8. Georgia has crushed our run game twice now. Maybe we can block them next time, but we sat in 2nd and 10 for about three hours of real time.
  9. It was definitely targeting. Come on.
  10. Both CU and BYU would’ve made this way more interesting than Iowa State. Buncha frauds.
  11. Skattebo is a beast!

  13. Selling shares in some offshore oil rigs
  14. Boise is pretty damn solid. I think they would push in Miami’s shit. Good for them. Who has the red field?? Eastern Wash
  15. Our lack of punting really showed up. A couple of good ones could’ve turned the tables when the game was still in doubt. Meanwhile the GA punter was hitting laser beams. Need to fight them to a draw on special teams tomorrow.
  16. Miami getting left out this year isn’t nearly as controversial as Florida State getting left out last year. Hilarious.
  17. These pundits are all dipshits. It’s a fucking 12 team playoff. Every year, there are about 5 teams that have a good shot to win it all, followed by a bunch of other teams that would need every break in the world to get a title. And we’re bitching about team 12 here? All these teams in that range are flawed as hell.
  18. Hayes is a dumbass. Ole Miss has THREE losses. One of them to 4-8 Kentucky. At some point your bad losses have to mean something.
  19. Clemson wins and the committee takes the easy way out and keeps SMU in the field, eliminating the three loss SEC teams altogether. It would also dilute the field in our favor. Lol jk Bama is getting in.
  20. Different scenario this time - Georgia had a make or break game in Austin, we were coming off of OU while they got Miss State to warm up, and Ewers is healthier now. Texas 24, Georgia 20. 25 attempts for 145 yards.
  21. I agree but it’s probably a mandatory consideration when you’re trying to tiebreak 3 teams that all have 3 losses. You can poke holes in each team’s résumé all day long. They have 3 losses!
  22. Here’s how I see it, based on an assumption they won’t penalize a CCG loser from one of the P4 conferences by knocking them out of the field In no matter what: Texas, Georgia, Oregon, Penn State, ND, Indiana, Ohio State (lol this system sucks), Tenn, SMU, Big 12 winner, MWC winner. That leaves a spot. Clemson gets it if they win. If not, I could see Miami getting it just so they don’t have to deal with the SEC 3-loss issue. I don’t think BYU will be above Miami when the rankings come out tonight, and they can’t help their case. I could also see the committee picking SCar on the hot hand theory if they decide they need another SEC team.
  23. Don’t see how Michigan scores unless Ohio State helps them out a whole lot.
