Tom Cruise made sure Val had the opportunity to have Iceman be a lasting memory for us.

    So I do appreciate that:

“In 2021 the film's producer Jerry Bruckheimer told People that it was a necessity for Cruise, sharing: "He said, 'We have to have Val, we have to have him back. We have to have him in the film.'

And he was the driving force. We all wanted him, but Tom was really adamant that if he's going to make another Top Gun, Val had to be in it."

I know Tom Cruise get's shit on for his fake religion and craziness...but he always gets my money cause his films are amazing and you can tell he really loves to make movies and most the actors he's working with.

He'll he still keeps employing Ving Rhames in every single MI movie when they could have obviously moved on by now.

I LOVE that he basically rail roaded Val into this movie.

I loved him in The Saint. I know it’s not one of his highest rated movies but I enjoyed it.  And he was perfect as Jim Morrison.

    Another very underrated performance.

But My fave is Willow...that's the one that made him amazing to me.

Heat was a killer one as well...

But Doc Holliday was transcendent.  We still talk about it today. 30+ years later.

This.  It's being overblown for "both side'isms"

I liked the cold open, Weekend Update, and the animated guys mapping out New York.  Listened to Wallen's first song and he was terrible.  Fast forwarded through the second song and never watch the ending stage thing.

Pretty much like every week...a few good sketches mixed in with some Hosts.

Fuck yes!  Their last two "tales of" entries were both great...this one looks even better, with the best 2 CW characters outside of Ahsoka who we actually would love to see more of.

Wouldn't surprise me to see more Ventress content coming in some way too...

  4. They always have 1 off the wall episode (Season one had the Storybook Episode for The Doctors kid, and season 2 had the musical) looking foward to the detective Noir episode.

Also that clip above starting right after the season finale has me amped.

Fuck, I’m agreeing with Drew. I need a drink, or a bong rip. I don’t know which.

I agree with Drew though. Now Dallas doesn’t have to reach for a QB. If one they REALLY like falls, then they can draft him, if not they can focus elsewhere.

I know it's tough to do for you. But honestly, I don't see how anyone is hating on the ONE really good move they've made this offseason.

I'm more referring to the franchise that drips swag it hasn't earned yet, is lead by the NBA's premier foul merchant, and makes you pray before watching basketball in their building.

But I don't disagree wth the shit you said about the Mavs.

All of this. They've been crowned for not doing nothing.

At least the 2007 Mavs who ran away with the West had just come off a Finals appearance, and had been in a WCF/close before that.

OKC players/fans/media acts like it's foregone.

I have no belief the Mavs sneak into 8 and beat them...but if healthy, they damned sure will scare the fuck out of them.  Mavs seemingly are in their heads(3 of their 12 losses are to the Mavs and 2 without Luka, so it's like it doesn't matter who's playing).  Making them work in the first round would be hilarious.

Got to agree with you. 5th round picks are quite valuable, you’ll find them starting all over the league.  My Lions got both Malcolm Rodriguez and starting OG Christian Mahogany in the 6th.

The Boys have made Dak the highest paid QB in the league. So Milton will never ever even see the field in all likelihood.  Poor use of resources by GM Jones

The guy that's missed 15 games the last 3 seasons...Like I'm THE Dak guy and even I know they gotta have a guy you want to play backing him up.

We'll see what Milton has...he'll get chances for sure.

  8. Guys they were definitely drafting a QB this year.  Probably in the 5th. Milton is better prospect than anyone they could have gotten on Day 3 in the draft at QB, AND they got a 7th thrown in for their patented "Priority RFA" they love so much.

He's going to cost just over 3 million, TOTAL, over the next 3 years.  By year 3 you'll know if he's legit or not and will definitely play a ton with Dak's injuries most likely. He's 25.  Still a really young QB prospect.

This is nothing but a win...like what?  I'd much rathe this than a 5th or later on Ewers, Howard, or Gabriel.

See, I like Banner, for those reasons. He is actually my favorite character.

Agreed. He's not a morally good character at all, but a real one.  Wants to provide for his family/people and stick it to the ones he believes is making his life hard.

    But there's a limit I think.

  10. Sounds more like people took a petty simple comment, made something huge out of a non story and now "both side-ism" is turned to 11.

He may hate New York.  So fucking what.  I know a ton of people who've all hated most of the north east just like they hate all of us country yokels in middle america.

They got their panties in a twist cause he "ran away" and his fans/people who don't give a shit about the big city, got triggered and fired back.

It was most likely a pretty inane comment that people blew up for no reason.

And I think the gomers are gonna lose their basketball coach.

it’s an incredible time to not be aggy.

NO no, stupid Sip...they WANT him gone now. They don't want anyone that has "quit" on aggie...

Aint no way he's taking a better job at all...they just want him to leave now.

Not be on aggie side, ever...but that is pretty messed up.

The rules are the rules and all...but I'd be lighting up the other coach too.  Also don't blame Kentucky for using the rules in their favor.  Aggie wasn't coming back anyways.

interesting article and eye opening.  Only an 18% hit rate for 1st round qb draftees. That’s a fail in any business.  You have a better shot of winning doing pull a string or tossing baseballs in a basket at a carnival.

says a lot to the herd mentality, the lack of development, the terrible analytics, bad coaching, etc.

It's been proven, that except in rare circumstances, building a good team first, and then finding a QB makes more sense.

Hell even labeling Daniels a Hit now, would be soon...becuase he could have a fall off the next few years. Same as another Washington first year stand out in RGIII

Man, I almost feel sorry for them..... 😇

Not! 🤣 Damn, the Aggys are good at sucking at things.

I said the same thing a week ago or so...it's almost, no fun to make fun of them cause even THEY know it's a horrible season.

I would have liked them to rebound a bit and think they're rolling just for them to get 0-3'd when they played us.

it was fun reading the aggy pre season poll thread when it got bumped.

"I said Aggy v LSU will be the most expensive CWS ticket ever in June"

I just didnt say which June I was talking about... June 2027   😃   ... now see thats some serious self-reflection aggy humor.... i didnt think that existed.

Did the same thing yesterday...they were whooping all over the place.

Probably no different than us, but at least if it was Texas Football, we've at least been in the semifinals the last 2 years.

ALWAYS a stop a watch...hell I sometimes stumble across reaction videos on Youtube(where someone is watching for the first time, and usually someone who's African American) and watch those.  Most of them can't even watch the whipping scene...the scene that literally won Denzel his first Oscar.

    15 hours ago, PittsburghTiger said:

Great film. The three scenes that stuck with me were; 1. When Denzel’s character gets the whip after he was caught looking for shoes, 2. When Denzel’s character explains to Broderick that the flag is not his flag and, 3. When the soldiers are singing and talking the night before battle.

    Just a terrific film.
