  1. Mack was there to give Rodney pointers and left pleased.
  2. The Cloak Room is a perfect place for political discussion. This board is not.
  3. Both undoubtedly have closets full of jorts.
  4. No. I’m 99% certain he’s a poster on this site.
  5. If they made the medal stand, it’s going to collapse sooner or later.
  6. Whining motherfucking aggies. Just like the genesis of “conference-destroying.”
  7. Y’all take this shit somewhere else.
  8. The Legend of Peter Gardere is great because he owned OU. But man, those were some offenses so awful that Shawn Watson would have been proud of their lack of production.
  9. How many FCS teams did they play? You can include Oklahoma in that number.
  10. Lots of similarities to the nazis
  11. imma needs to be a villain in a Robert Rodriguez movie.
  12. I wouldn’t use Texas's interception stats as a barometer for anything.
  13. Come on, man. The guy loves to shop. You know some of those kinds of guys.
  14. I agree with you. We all have seen the struggles. But at the same time, what if we DO put together a complete game? This team has a ton of potential and has left a lot of meat on the bone...and we are playing in the national semifinal.
  15. They lost the last regular season game they played. To a team we smoked. Could they win? Of course, but a two game win streak is not a buzzsaw. Maybe they've figured out the magic formula, but two games is not remotely conclusive on that.
  16. Eh, it was the pervasive thought in the building at the time, coming from the top. And I don't hate Mack Brown. I just see him for who he is, which is not a Texas loyalist. Mack loves Mack and would die for Mack.
  17. Add to that in the NIL era, a city like Phoenix provides many more potential corporate dollars than somewhere like East Lansing or even Gainesville. Plus, as you mentioned Campbell above, the tenure and requirements of a coach at a traditional "have not" program are much more forgiving and low-pressure than taking a job somewhere like USC or Michigan, or even somewhere that has false expectations like Texas A&M. Those places eat coaches alive. Stability has to be worth something, particularly if a guy is going to become rich either way (and in Dillingham's case, he is at home).
  18. The asshole said that "winning too much isn't good for the kids." That makes it pretty damned clear that he needs to be kept at arms length from this program and from leadership in CFB. He doesn't want to see an era in which Texas is able to dominate. Not to mention the fact that he would be overshadowed in such a scenario. Mack is far too small a man for that.
