  1. I get that, but their insult is the equivalent of being called a “poo poo head.” No serious adult would respond to that…
  2. It was obvious that those fucktards couldn’t afford to fire Fisher, but they absolutely refuse to think through any decision. Elko and staff will cost them more than they had planned for and they’re going to have to pay up for a lot of their NIL kids. A perfect storm of suck, all brought to you by the university that hasn’t won shit in nearly 85 years.
  3. Daylon still thinks they run the state. They never ran the state. And Daylon really doesn’t know much about running at all. Big Boy bleeds gravy.
  4. They paid Jimbo Fisher $100MM+ For the same thing. They’re addicted to dumbass and should probably consider rehab.
  5. No. He’s still the HC at Texas A&M. It’s a lot like that dream where you’ve ended up at school, late, in your underwear, and everyone else is taking an exam. Dude is fucked.
  6. This comment is fucking retarded. You’ve exposed yourself. Don’t be a dumbass.
  7. I will add this: I worked with a non-profit whose Director and most of the board were Aggies. The Director was saying and doing some very sketchy things (unethical, not necessarily illegal) to the point of driving off good employees and alienating others who dared question how things were being done. It became apparent to me very quickly that this person had stacked the board with fellow Ags because they would never pose any opposition to things the Director did. One of the employees was a friend of mine and an Aggie and I laid the whole thing out for him and told him to get the hell away. The Director was willing to run the organization into the ground as long as his power was unchecked and his ideas were accepted. My friend left the organization and my involvement with it lasted for one project. Most of the other "good Ags" are still there, nodding away and celebrating mediocrity. Sounds a lot like Aggie Football.
  8. It works out when people have integrity, like Choate. Elijah Robinson is a mercenary just like the vast majority of his players. They're getting exactly the treatment they warrant.
  9. Robinson and Bjork are guys they can't admit to being wrong on. Sharp is one of them. The vast majority of them know he's a good Ag and hasn't done anything wrong at all since he's one of them.
  10. I remember when Joe Mixon shattered a girl's face and OU protected him and let him redshirt rather than punishing him. Fuck OU.
  11. Anytime someone uses that in my presence, I give them a "who farted?" look and then turn my head. It's not even worth a verbal response. Absolute childishness.
  12. I said I have done all the defending I will do. You can fuck yourself, though.
  13. But that’s different. Aggy’s only success, such as it is, has been when they were illegally paying players. They want THOSE rules so they can cheat. They can’t afford to play by THESE rules and it isn’t fair.
  14. The perception of willingly going to Texas A&M at this point would be really bad.
  15. That ain’t a mayonnaise jar.
  16. I’ve known rednecks, Sir. No self-respecting redneck would claim William P. Loochie as one of their kind. More like bulbous-nosed shitbag.
  17. Listen, if we have two gay dudes get in a slap fight here, all Texas A&M social media will get a collective hard-on. Y’all simma down na.
  18. This will be my last post “defending” the guy. I could have someone who worked for him and knows him well come post here instead, and maybe he will. Moffitt has been in BR for over 20 years. It is now his family home. He could have gone to work for Saban more than once in that time frame but did not because it was home. When Kelly let him go, he stayed because of family. At some point, a guy does have to decide how he’s going to finish out his working years. A&M is relatively close, I’m sure he’s getting paid well, and it’s time to go back to work. I agree that Elko is trying to ingrain a “blue collar” mentality in CS. I do not think this hire will change the culture because the problem there goes way beyond entitlement, but I do think it’s a good hire. Elko will still be gone within 5 years.
  19. Mack was the problem, though. Whatever you think of Major, he was extremely frustrated by Mack’s unwillingness to listen and work hard. (See: comment I made yesterday on the UW game thread)
  20. Dude knows O-line (as does Ferentz), knows the Big 10 culture and recruiting territory, had offenses that were pretty similar to what Ferentz likes to do, and undoubtedly picked up some ideas on explosiveness while he was here. It is a huge upgrade for Iowa. Iowa also always seems to find productive RBs and certainly TEs.
  21. I’d take the money to work somewhere that isn’t Texas A&M. It would take a lot more to choose to work there.
  22. Uh, I pointed out that Wylie sucked when we hired him. His philosophy and Moffitt’s are miles apart. There’s a reason one guy has three rings and the other is Lincoln Riley’s fluffer. Moffitt is not a Jerry Schmidt-type meathead and he didn’t lose his job in BR because of his performance.
  23. If you say so. I was one of the first posters to sound the alarm on Shaggy about Wylie. But sure.
