  1. They’ve never been in touch with reality, hence their terrible case of little brother syndrome. Yes, we have more donor support. Yes, we have more alumni support. Yes, we have more of a national fanbase. Yes, we have far more money. No, we don’t need to tap into the PUF. Douchebags.
  2. It’s already up. Not sure why he’s wearing #10.
  3. At A&M, the ROI in the band program would be pretty bad. They damn sure aren’t changing shows or uniforms…ever. It would probably go about as well as things are going with football. These idiots…
  4. They would be better off selling their assets and cancelling their football program, putting all the money into their band choreography and uniform design budget.
  5. Halftime is more than a complete half of football. It’s longer than it was several years ago.
  6. Every band had a kid who passed out, though. Dummies.
  7. I support LHB 100%. They do a great job every week. They gotten me fired up at big games all over the country. Don’t really care to hear about their nuances, though.
  8. Pretty sure the movie “Dumb and Dumber” was metaphorical for Texas A&M.
  9. I just tried to keep their mouths full.
  10. We’re gonna need a bigger forum…
  11. 😂 Sounds like we need a Band Dorks forum. @immamac make it so. I remember Bucky Godbolt on the radio once talking his kid playing “skin flute in the marching band.” He obviously didn’t take it as seriously as some of you.
  12. ***I do not hate the band or the effort band kids put into what they do. I have noticed that over the years, game performances have become only about practice for competitions. And what the hell is up with having electric guitars, kettle drums. and huge sound systems at a “marching band performance?”
  13. I always used to say (maybe still do), “OK band. Y’all need to take a knee and run out the half…”
  14. He is a guy who should never have to start at the University of Texas.
  15. Yeah, Bush did his job this year and I have no complaints. Glad he was not a necessity this year like he has been in the past.
  16. Maybe there is big demand for Ketamine among NFL players. McKinnley will test the market.
  17. I remember much discussion on Texags back in the day about what Reggie McNeal’s nickname should be. On a long-deleted thread over there, they had The Sheriff, The Real Deal, Loose Wheel, Banana Peel, and quite a few other suggestions. They finally settled on “Car Stereo Thief,” which doesn’t have a great ring to it but it was at least logical.
  18. Ah yes. Leon is going to match wits with Lane Kiffin. That should go well.
  19. Speaking of that, whatever happened to Brian Perroni? Did he get stuck somewhere? I must have missed it.
  20. So: Dat Nguyen and Stephen McGee are both idiots. Nguyen put up a special flag thinking they were going to be in the thick of the national championship chase in 2022 based on what? Then Stephen McGee said the problem is that their expectations aren’t high enough. Dat Nguyen in 2022 proves that is false. Their expectations are consistently unrealistic for a mediocre program. They’ve never won anything so they should be patient and allow a coach to build his program. They can’t do that because all of their media are aggies and not neutral observers and they’re incapable of being objective since they’re emotionally invested. They immediately spin everything as pro-Aggie and try to manipulate people with the things they write and say. Their writers recruit for the school. They HAVE to toe the party line. As a result, people’s expectations are unreasonable and they panic at the least sign of failure and then push Eject and don’t give a coach a chance to work through struggles. And then repeat it all over again. Khan also should have noted that RC cheated just like Jackie Sherrill. That also adds to their being unreasonable. Their only two coaches who have tasted success since 1939 were buying players. TLDR: if they’d shut the fuck up and watch events unfold instead of beating their bird chests about every little perceived win, things would go better for them. They’re utterly incapable of doing so. Their culture is the problem.
  21. They decided the replay was “inconclusive.” It was clear as day. They just didn’t want to end the match on that call, IMO. So very Big12 of them.
