  1. The three people who were with me left a combined 5 times during the game and didn’t have much trouble. I’ve never been to a game that had no issues with bathrooms or concessions. It’s the nature of that many people being in a confined space. The last couple of years, the water and beer vendors have been all around. They have not turned the water fountains back on since Covid. That’s a different issue than concessions.
  2. Also appreciated the energy the crowd brought. I’ll admit that I was pissed even through halftime, and I talked a lot of shit about how much our OL sucked, but my buddies and I yelled on every defensive play and tried to get the crowd around us up. It got really loud several times. And on the punt return, people were throwing beer and drinks everywhere. First time I’ve seen that. (I think a lot of it was to soak the sooner sitting a few seats down from me)
  3. You edited it. I was about to post “Do what now?” Give me a few beers and I’ll love you, man, but I definitely did not sit with Chewbacca at the playoff game last year.
  4. Not sure what to tell you. I bought myself two bottles of water before the game and had water left for the walk back to the car. Yes, it would be ideal to have all you can drink. But they didn’t run out everywhere. I know this because I saw cases of water after the game. The bathroom situation was much better, and it does still need to improve.
  5. You did just remind me that that unbearable motherfucker Bob Cole did somehow get ahold of a microphone (or was it a bullhorn?) before the game and started yelling “TEXAS!” “Fight!” trying to get the chant going. Thankfully, the PA system isn’t great, so we could barely hear him. Texas fans have been chanting that since long before some self-important blowhard decided we needed his help. Maybe Bob could lead the Whisper Chant in a sound proof room somewhere. I’d vote for it. Maybe Texas-OU just isn’t for you, sport.
  6. Why? I heard someone at the game bragging about not hearing a bunch of extraneous bullshit and commercials. I agree with that. Texas-OU is about this game, and it’s nice that it’s not over done.
  7. Buddha statues are everywhere. Slap an Aggie hat and a 5-XL ol Sarge shirt on one and there you go… Question is: will they need a scoreboard for the statue to keep up with their games? Whoop!
  8. Come on, now. Art only looked the other way while adults were being raped. And the rhythmic slapping was kept off campus. Totally different.
  9. Since he was definitely signaling timeout, I don’t give two shits what he says about clapping. He absolutely should be flagged repeatedly for being on the field. He intimidates officials during and after games and this is the result. The conference needs to stop it.
  10. Maybe he likes sanctioned sexual abuse.
  11. a. Don’t be a pussy b. Choose better seats I know a. is his permanent state of being.
  12. That one was definitely not a block in the back.
  13. I’m going to have to count mine out. Don’t even remember how many I’ve been to. Was also trying to remember the “secret route” to Fair Park you gave me back in the HF days, but I’ve long since forgotten. Made it and in really well yesterday anyway. Hope you’re well.
  14. He called me last year as well. I had emailed a complaint about entrance through the gates and unscannable tickets. That’s why I recommended letting the department know. CDC makes a lot of money because he is good at his job and wants to know what impacts fans and donors…which is why he’s good at his job And I get underpaid workers, but the more Dallas hears about it, the more likely things are to be addressed. This game is big to Texas, OU, and the City of Dallas. We all have a major vested interest in making it awesome.
  15. On a play in the second half, I saw a convoy of our guys blocking down the field ahead of Wisner or Arch (don’t remember which) and they were pointing out men to block and communicating as they were running. Specifically saw Livingstone doing this. That is great. Reminded me of our awesome downfield blocking when we had guys like David Thomas doing everything in their power to win games.
  16. Yall make sure and pass along your comments to our AD. They’ll meet with the City for after-action review. CDC will do what he can to make sure things are improved. Some of you need to change your own routines to help yourself. You can’t help when you have to go to the restroom, but you can buy multiple bottles/cans of whatever before the game. And I agree that people loitering in the concourse or the aisles or jamming into sections makes other people’s lives hell. At the top of my section, a guy kept making people sitting in the aisles leave. Stadium staff did almost nothing to handle the issue because they didn’t want to get pushback.
  17. With some absolute murders among those 9. He stole from us for several years. Fuck Mack Brown.
  18. I got to my seat a little earlier than usual yesterday. I thought the improvements were fantastic. The place looked so much nicer. The escalators were awesome, but couldn’t be used after the game because of the congestion at the exits. When I went to a drink vendor and the restroom, I was able to get there and back very quickly. I know that wasn’t everyone’s experience, but it’s an old stadium and cannot be made perfect. This stadium has come light years ahead since they added the upper decks in the end zone. I love it more than I ever have. So glad we don’t play in a vanilla stadium that’s more about amenities than football. Fuck OU!
  19. Now they know how Mack made us feel.
  20. People want to see Sarkisian prove that he can correct his shortcomings. They were much better in the second half today, but still sputtered along a lot. At least I saw positives. Made me feel better about this team.
  21. From Market Center, about to take a Venables: LONGHORNS!
  22. 9. Mack bragged about 9 wins a season.
  23. I won’t get into town in time, or I’d join you sloppy degenerates.
  24. He rang that dude up. Pretty sure I heard the birds tweeting around the drunk guy’s head.
  25. Exactly. Mack drove that program into the ground, too. Ran the wheels off it and then kept going until the brake rotors gouged the pavement and shattered. Belichek was handed a smoldering pile. Now Mack is back in Austin and our program has cratered again. Let’s buy him a house in Norman or College Station and kindly tell him to get the fuck out. Again.
