Episode 3 decided to go meta lol.
This suitcase is going to be tragic.
Faye cracks me up. Search for Chloe Cherry if you're interested in her other work.
The child cult is definitely the weakest part but everything else is so great that it doesn't matter (to me).
Loved this series, it's instantly up towards the top of all time for me.
I understand that pragmatically you don't like the decision, but it's certainly a decision that a human could make. It's the first time in the series that holden is selfish and it completely tracks to me that ruining the love of his life what pushed him there.
I don't get the hang up on this at all.
Damn, a ton happening in the first episode. I literally cried out "no!" when rue found the other chick's stash in the car at the party. Lexi looking cute af. Fuck nate. That's all.
I really enjoy mackenzie davis in this. Her voice and face are a little weird but I dig it. I looked up what else she was in because I wasn't familiar with her. I really liked the black mirror episode she was in, but the rest looked like trash.
I have not read the books but one of the podcasts I listen to has a guy that has. He said where he predicted this season would end is still looking correct and that 2 episodes is enough to get there. I'm optimistic that he's right.
I went straight through the current 5 episodes while off from work last week and then decided to watch them all again. Totally engrossing show, but I love emotional gut punches.
There were quite a few small things that I missed on my first viewing that I picked up or made more sense the second viewing.
Does anyone know how many episodes there will be?
This post got me curious because the leftovers is my favorite series. Station 11 creator, Patrick Somerville, was a writer on the leftovers and also the creator on maniac which I really like as well. Anyone who enjoyed the leftovers should definitely check this out though.
The integration with the chromecast TV is really cool. I use a roku on my main TV though just out of habit. I may switch soon. I don't like how small and light the chromecast remote is though, the roku at least has a little weight to it.
Also the yttv app has been back on roku for a while if you don't want to access through the yt app.
I work for a steel fabricator, and the last few warehouses we've done have had beams at the roof because the client didn't want to wait for joist delivery. Our joist suppliers are booked to October right now, and so is our shop. Business volume is at an all time high but the steel price increases are cutting into what should be fantastic profit.
