  1. I'm not sure how long these have been on netflix, but I've been watching a few of the PBS nova docs lately. "the day the dinosaurs died" about taking core samples of the crater currently thought to have been created by the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs is really really fascinating.
  2. Fondren is maybe not familiar with trump's views on climate change. A "hoax by the Chinese" is the exact wording, I believe.
  3. I could see that. My cousins grew up in woodland/Davis to the west and it's pretty similar as well.
  4. The first episode is probably the best, honestly
  5. This is like late season dexter type train wreck. I don't know why, but I'm going to finish it out though. I saw so much praise for this from brits on reddit and I just don't get it.
  6. Rue and Jules fall out is going to be such a kick in the balls
  7. Watched it last night and it's really funny. I liked his old specials but this one is better imo. He's not "in character" for this one and it works better with the content.
  8. I thought this as well, then I took a peek at texags....
  9. I'd be OK with black votes and census population being worth say... 1 and 3/5ths that of whites with some cut off in the next few hundred years.
  10. I was soooo glad they didn't take the cal bit violent.
  11. Yeah, very enjoyable. I know a lot of people bag on magnolia, but I love it and this episode was putting off major magnolia vibes.
  12. I noticed that as well, really odd. That dude being an undercover cop is the stupidest shit ever
  13. You should make a thread about all the times pedos are the villan in movies and TV shows.
  14. Maybe they'll kill off June and then just focus on Gilead politics. That'd be awesome
  15. It's so ridiculous. The dude getting naked at the bonfire and his daughter's reaction was a legit belly laugh though.
  16. Csb: I was accosted by a homeless woman one block from the white house about a month ago.
  17. I had always pictured that diver story as actually diving fully underwater through a maze (and in pitch black). The show made it kind of disappointing with them just wading around with flashlights. Great story and bravery, but just one of those things I had built up more in my head.
  18. Yeah, this is quickly turning into man in the high castle where I just want to know more about the world and their society and can't give any shits about the stupid resistance.
  19. Hit a pai gow 7 card royal flush at Harvey's this past NYE. That's all I have to add.
  20. It's like asking why a person doesn't take Alex jones seriously.
  21. I'm in. It's a little silly at times but what a great cliffhanger.
  22. The actress is trans as well
  23. The one constant in false confessions that are later overturned is that the interrogators and prosecutors will never admit they got it wrong.
