Best one me and the wife do is look at the circulars for sales on meats. anytime something gets super cheap we buys several pounds of it and freeze it....

Thursdays, and only Thursday, at our Kroger is the day that put out the real deals.

  2. LaQuinta was good to me for years and in Texas their properties tend to be updated if not newer.  Once you hit so many stays the price is sub 100 and they always keep a room for their best customers.  Switched over to IHG as La Quinta has no higher end places to use points.  Sucks that they merged with Wyndham.  Tell me how i'm wrong on that point.  I havent stayed at one of their properties in years and wish Sheraton/Starwood had bought them.

  3. I believe most people make up their own truth rather than accept truth(s).  I believe truth most times is hard, in most ways including acceptance, and i find it nearly always easier to say fuck truth(s) and create their own.

  4. They have lost 9 of the last 10 meetings to Texas, 5 on their own field, and trail significantly in the series 4-10 overall.  They won their first championship and began their prominence after Texas already had won and started theirs and have yet to win one since Texas won another in 20005.

  5. Lets start with the good.  The fishing there is better than anywhere in Mexico.  Marlin, Dorado, Tuna, Wahoo all are almost a given.  The bad is most beaches are not swimmable.  Make sure your beach is swimmable. Definetely don't swim or even walk near the water at night.  Waves and tides close in fast.

  6. Seriously what's your friends name again?

    Spoiler

You can file IRS Form 3949-A to report the alleged cheater and walk away. But if you want a reward, file Form 211 instead, says Bob Gardner, a consultant and former manager in the IRS whistle-blower office.

Whistle-blowers can get 15% to 30% of the amount collected if the case involves more than $2 million in taxes, penalties, interest and other amounts. (If the suspected cheater is an individual, he or she must also make more than $200,000 a year.) Below those thresholds, the award is discretionary.  In 2015, the rewards totaled more than $103 million for 99 whistle-blowers.

  7. Good Ole Boys in Katy is not good, both times overcooked.

LA Crawfish in Upper Kirby is decent

Rajin Cajun is consistently good for me

Crawfish & Noodles is above average but not worth of all the recent hype.

So many asian crawfish places on Bellaire in Chinatown
