  1. He fought for his freedom to get fired and I thank him.
  2. cant keep a big dog down
  3. Has “ poor airmanship” been used yet?
  4. I think one long of 11 a month is probably enough now for your upcoming race. Work on bricks and also you need a speed day doing 400 or 800’s with 1 minute rest in between.
  5. Socialism for me but not for thee
  6. I have a half 2 weeks from Sunday and I am pushing a wheel chair so today was my last long run. It was in the 20’s and windy. Didn’t ty run real fast but wanted to get a decent pace.
  7. You might be over doing it. I think I had 3 gels on the bike and 1 on the run for the 70.3. I think salt was your bigger problem.
  8. I always do 2 salt tablets before a 2 hour ride and 1 before my run. My advice is to be comfortable exercising 4 hours and the rest will come.
  9. Glad to hear it’s getting better. Your 70.3 is 1 week before mine. It’s so close but so far away.
  10. This is basically how I behave with them now. Your dad lost his job because of funding?? Must be woke. You don’t feel good ???? Must be woke. It’s helped me tremendously in that I don’t have to have boring conversations anymore.
  11. Oh, so now we are shaming drunk driving ???
  12. Today was a good run. I was just going to take it easy but I guess I had extra energy after a huge unhealthy lunch and ended up running 7.5 miles at a 6:20 average and was feeling great. If I could just hold a 7:15 pace for the 70.3 I would be thrilled.
  13. I offer Greene County a penny for their thoughts and prayers.
  14. Now you can use a plastic straw to suck his ass you piece of shit.
  15. there are 2 things you can bet on for race day with me. 1. I will be fast. 2. I will dookie before I leave my house.
  16. You are 4 years older than me and about 2 minutes off of my fastest time. You are elite for your age. Be proud of that.
  17. Good time Big Dog!!!! Next year I move up to 45.
  18. I remember last year I was eating my lunch after the race and people were still coming off the bike and I looked at someone and said those poor bastards as it was getting hot. In all seriousness, I absolutely have a ton of respect for someone who takes a little longer and is out there pushing themselves. You are only racing yourself and it is a privilege to be out there.
  19. Yes. There are many from all walks of life and fitness level. I remember my first 70.3 I was nervous and saw a bigger guy with his wetsuit pulled halfway down ripping a cig waiting to swim.
  20. I appreciate you saying that and I will admit I am a little lucky with my job and some genetics but you can do it too.
  21. I was the same way growing up and thought swimming would be easy and boy was I wrong. What I learned is I had a breathing problem in the water.
  22. A guy I train with is 63 and will finish the 70.3 in under 6 hours this year.
  23. You can probably run that already.
  24. Not the highest but closer to highest. I honestly never pay attention and go off of feel. I will be faster this year on the bike and am interested if I can average close to 23 and then run a 1:35 half. There is a two mile bike climb up chickamauga that really slows down the average.
