  1. I honestly don’t know. I guess I grew up with parents that fought about money a lot and didn’t have much of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You’re thinking of Heartbreak Kid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I am a little disappointed I didn’t get any smart ass answers guys and I appreciate the responses. I would happily go down to 1,600 if I could find something. The thought of an $1,800 house payment scares the absolute shit out of me. I am probably too conservative( financially) to a fault. I am kind of like Ben Stiller’s character in Along Came Polly( even have the same job as he did in movie) in that I am constantly running worst case scenarios. What if we lose one income... what if someone gets sick... etc. I will say it was awesome to not have to worry about money when we found out the wife was pregnant Maybe some of my angst is the inventory in this area is small. Every house on Zillow is already pending.
  4. I’m 40 with a 9 month old and will have private school in a few years so I am always thinking ahead. I keep hoping that it’s all going to workout for me but I’ve never been one to buy something just because I can afford it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Also, I love this thread as I have been bitching about this for awhile. I sold a lot and 2 houses 5 years ago and have been renting for the last 4 years and will be buying most likely in the summer of 22. I live in an area in Tennessee that’s desirable right now and it’s making home prices regarded. I am not a 1% or anything but wife and I combined make around $180,000 a year and we have no debt and I feel like we cannot afford anything close to the house we want. The neighborhood we live in had 1 2 bedroom house that recently sold for $260,000 which is ridiculous to me. All we are wanting is 2,000 sq ft and we willl be lucky to find something under $360,000 unless we want to live in the hood. I don’t see how everyone is affording this shit and maybe I am just tight with money but that just doesn’t appear affordable to me.
  6. I always thought if a bank took back a forclosure that they couldn’t sell it for more than amount owed. Am I wrong? Sounds like I am.
  7. Has to be a red flag with other coaches to see a bitch quit in the middle of the season because he isn’t starting anymore.
  8. Lol. When the hell was this and how did I not know about it?
  9. Lol seriously. I’ve been melting down.
  10. I handled the taxes and shit but is my breaking point. I’m moving.
  11. We made mac n cheese for dinner and I hear the garbage disposal run while she was cleaning up. I asked her if she put the noodles in the disposal and she answered yes like I was a dumb ass. I told her you aren’t supposed to do that and she asked who said and I responded with non retards across America.
  12. Thanks man. I mostly hug the right side of the lane. I’ve seen some douchy riders and I am committed to not being one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I can’t keep the minimum speed of 55 to stay on the interstate ..............................yet
  14. I recently started riding on the road since I am doing an Ironman and I am a nervous wreck the whole time about being ran over. I also ride with someone and we do it on country roads early Saturday mornings but I still cannot relax. We only had to deal with 1 impatient person so far and I think it helps we ride on a 30 mile loop where people expect cyclists. I am doing my best not to be a cycle douche.
  15. Nothing wrong with establishing your dominance.
  16. There was a time when this song would just have been good to me but something about being older and having a child makes this one bite. It is also true
  17. It’s probably just as awkward for your cousin in a way and it doesn’t really sound like he is trying to fuck you but maybe just a little ignorant on the value. I propose a face to face conversation where you just be straight up with him and even say it’s a little weird dealing with family and you are just trying to make sure both sides win. I bet y’all ain’t as far off on the value as you think.
  18. Yep, really sad. It appears he was able to get on with his life and be happy at least.
  19. Scott Miller wrote a song after a friend committed suicide and left 8 year old twins and a husband. Such a beautiful song and a nice tribute to a friend. I don’t know how he can get through this.
  20. It’s a shame this is where I went also and my bullshit meter is normally good.
  21. I did all that before he was born. It’s amazing how many people don’t do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. We got a no cancellation price for a van and then had to cancel and after some arguing they refunded the money. We got a van for $700 but due to covid hotspot in Florida and having an 8 month old we decided to cancel. I wouldn’t have even argued with them if not for the fact vans are going for $1,500 right now on their website. I told them they would lose money making me keep reservation and the fucking thing would sit in my driveway all week when I wasn’t doordashing and Ubering in it.
