I think you missed something.
She is a very aware person (and Yale!). In the news industry.
She went to a place that was pretty common knowledge in NJ and eastern PA to have used slave labor.
She either didn't think there was something wrong with slave labor or didn't mind taking a photo with her family in front of the place. She could have posted a photo with them on the back patio. Some photo ops seem bad, like getting a photo at Arlington with the thumbs up in front of a soldier's grave. Or a photo hanging with Jeffery Epstein. I guess BAPS seems OK, in theory:
Maybe those slaves were actually volunteers, like it says above. Just someone forgot to tell them.
Says her grandfather voted for Trump, you know, the guy destroying our democracy. Seems like a bad move, but what do I know?
She complains that most of Trump's base doesn't like Indians. Now, we all know why MAGAts don't like Indians. But MAGATs are also OK with slave labor in certain contexts.
She complains in print about the racism.
