Hey Mackenzie, this is so comically obvious it's you that you might as well come on out and say it. Ten posts ever on surly, exclusively in this thread, and only referencing things that fitlump would know such as the details on her council voting history and this latest gem about her interview process. Own your success! You've come a long way from being a blackout drunk at the Water Tank 4-5 nights a week. Although inquiring minds still want to know how you assembled those bunk beds using a drill missing its battery pack.
Yep. If you're bored, go look at the bios of the dozens and dozens of the employees listed under their 'About Us' section. Seemingly every other person is a vice president or director of a Very Important Sounding Discipline. But it's rare to find someone that doesn't have at least a graduate degree or PhD in a health related field.
Then there's ol' fitlump, who is "currently completing her bachelor's degree in emergency management at West Texas A&M." I guess Harvard just wasn't challenging enough for her.
She found her grift. Bravo.
Alright, fitlump's been out of a job for a couple weeks now. Has she officially launched her next grift? Is she back to holding court at the Water Tank and The Mill? Serving as an escort to retired Lt Colonels at Balcones CC? I'm sure someone's spotted her in her trademark too tight red dress and Chucks sitting on a barstool somewhere as she talks way too loudly into her phone about how Greg and Ted and Don won't stop calling her asking for her advice.
And we've heard of Brisket's ability to create natural jet-fuel level gas on demand simply by eating...well, damn near ANYTHING and chasing it with some beers so give him a six pack, some Allsup's and a water ski ramp to launch from and watch that man fly that boat back to Texas like an eagle soars.
I've lived this a few times over my 55 years. It was a fun season, Vikes. You far exceeded expectations & now is when the soul of a fan gets crushed again.
Journey's Raised on Radio tour at the FEC in '86. Glass Tiger opened. The tension amongst the band was palpable. Just a flat, going through the motions while thinking the guy onstage next to you is the real asshole. Only concert where I've ever seen a drummer play TWO solos. [emoji849] Just looked it up & was surprised to see Randy Jackson was the bassist for that tour.
