  1. I'm thinking maybe a guy fired from a cyber security firm known for hiring reformed cyber criminals having almost unlimited access to federal data might be bad.
  2. https://kansasreflector.com/2025/02/12/with-trump-and-musk-driving-u-s-policy-kansas-farmers-have-been-played-for-suckers/
  3. A corporation's goal is to get as much money possible out of your pocket into theirs.
  4. I've said it before, but these tees are basically commemorative college bowl game shirts. For MAGA it's part of their identity. Yard signs aren't something you put on lawn during election season, it's a 365 days a year display like a flag of their alma mater they'll put in their front yard.
  5. Some of y'all don't sound extreme hardcore. Like you think one should work to live instead of live to work. A goddamn Loserpalloza fest is what it is.
  6. I like how he condemns those making 6 figures on the internet "begging" for clicks while also looking down on those who (in what might be a second job) provide him an actual tangible service.
  7. Agreed, but I think a bigger issue is just getting the message through to people silo-ed in their own information zones that allows the GOP to claim credit to their constituents for things like infrastructure bills that they voted against.
  8. The ease that some of you can be convinced "here's the REAL problem" is just insane. Oh well! Same as it ever was.
  9. Shut the fuck up, bitch.
  10. Why aren't you more persuasive like me, you idiot? - Your Supporters
  11. I hate it when people regurgitate their arm chair QB bitching and when presented with a forum to offer a path forward, offer nothing. I fucking hate it.
  12. Pre-apologies if you did and I missed it, and maybe I've misremembered a bit, but I seem to recall someone asking you how you would "message" a Democratic campaign, and again, I could be mistaken, you said it would take you a while or something to that affect. If you did and want to cut and paste, that would be great or if you wanna just whip something up, great as well. I got my right-leaning sister to post "Fuck Abbott" on Facebook, so there's one. Not sure what your conversion rate is, but I'm all ears and willing to pass along.
  13. DISH wouldn't come down enough when I had my yearly nearly 50 percent increase haggle. Cut it and as you mentioned, don't have time to put it on for background noise anyway. Two weeks or so to get adjusted, don't miss it
  14. I get that. I just see that more of an inflection point than "the start of it all".
  15. I feel it was started a lot earlier than that. Late 80s early 90s saw the proliferation of "news talk" radio popular amongst Working Joes and the 1996 Telecommunications Act signed by Clinton essentially paid for by Fairness And Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR) solidified corporate monopoly messaging and the freedom to hear Feel Like Making Love a brazilian times.
  16. This is just such an oft-repeated undefined criticism. Obama was pretty prominent last campaign. That guy is a bad communicator? Was Walz? Compared to last year's rambling, people leaving early Trump rallies?
  17. If you get any broader and more general, you can do the conflate slide into "can democratic government do anything right?"
  18. You're illustrating my point. The Democrat Executive checks it's own supposedly dominant position over the Legislative, while the GOP publishes it's own rationalizing of the unitary Executive, and as we're witnessing, carries it out.
  19. Again, had the bigger problem been an Executive Branch growing in power at the expense of the Legislative rather than the actual bigger problem, the Republican Party, Obama would have gotten his Supreme Court nominee.
  20. This "no one is innocent" notion is the binary false equivalency MAGA uses to rationalize it's deliberately destructive, zero sum pursuit of self-interest.
