I personally don't think adding SAs to the NFA would make the hughes amendment or even the NFA any more of a target for the SCOTUS compared to today. However, if they want to go down that road and try to go after the NFA, FAFO. I wouldn't put it past the whackadoos on the court right now but they're already treading on thin ice after Dobbs. They'd find their asses with 4 new friends to hang out with on the bench.
School and mall shooters aren't spending the money on full autos or an auto sear. Hell, you can buy M16 LPKs for $100 online. It has yet to be an issue but that's something else I would change. M16/full auto LPKs should only be available through an FFL with proof of tax stamp.
I also don't buy the reasoning for not doing it because "it's going to make NFA weapons more broadly accessible". Someone in the market for a $1500 AR isn't going to start looking into the NFA process and be like "Oh, let me just up my budget by 10x/20x and buy an M16". Supressors? Maybe but who cares.
This would be in addition to also raising the SA age limit to 25.
OOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRR.......... just move everything semi-auto or anything with the ability to accept a magazine to the Class III NFA list and keep the current process in place. Use the new found tax stamp money to expand staff to process the apps.
Absolutely need a pistol today? Buy a wheel gun. 6 shots is plenty. Need a shotgun? Plenty of break action and pump guns on the market.
Got a thing in my app for a free peppercorn ranch chicken sandwich. I'm normally a grilled Monterey melt guy but fucked up and didn't specify grilled when I ordered. This would probably be pretty good with grilled chicken cause the breaded filet I got was salty AF and overcooked/drier than Ben Shapiro's wife.
Mother, have you seen my rubber hand? It's in the dishwasher. Your father and I were using it for something. Oh for God's sake! Can't you keep my hand to yourself?
Should be some terminals under the hood to hook up your charger or jump box. That's how it's set up on my G8. Wouldn't think GM would have went away from doing it that way. A shitload of cars have the battery in the trunk now.
Easy. 5 hours to travel 200 miles @ 40 mph. Train pulls in at 3. The unloading starts but we know he's not waiting so he starts pounding ham immediately. 4:30 is your answer.
