  1. Shefter posted that whoever the Texans hire is irrelevant, Deshaun will still want out. Makes zero sense to me, if he wants out, ask for the trade now, literally no point in waiting. I think no matter what, Deshaun is a Texan game 1 of next year. No point in signing him to that contract and letting him go for any trade package. Hopefully we hire Bieniemy and he and the new GM smooth it over quickly.
  2. Kelly was kept at Deshaun’s request, I have almost no doubt about it. If Bieniemy wants his shot, it comes with a very slight caveat, I doubt it’s a dealbreaker for him.
  3. But in seriousness I don’t think McCown will be coach here, you always see friends of friends give interviews to help people get their names out there etc. If rumors are true though, he might get his shot as an OC, but with us keeping Tim Kelly, it probably won’t be with us. For is it’s Eberflus or Bieniemy.
  4. We even have a signed option for after he dies...
  5. Spent maaaaaany a night stoned to the bone watching MXC on the 40 acres at 2am. Wipeout is OK but MXC set the bar too high. Right you are Ken!
  6. Like Tennesseans before him, Gone To Texas
  7. Requesting permission to begin jerking off.
  8. Boulder is badass and anyone shit talking it has a sad agenda. HTH
  9. You are all over the place.
  10. Who the fuck is Urban Meyers
  11. It is not a Texans homerist view to anticipate a step down in production and some serious Bama fan base scorn for ole buttchin. We get Sark and they get BOB? Awesome.
  12. Regardless of who we think is hot, we need to pull the finest out of this pool of available coaches.
  13. Bieniemy will have lots of options but having a Pro Bowl LT and Deshaun is still a very attractive package. Above and beyond that, its up to our new GM. So let’s see what he’s made of.
  14. That jacket could do OK in the Big 12 because it’s offensive.
  15. What’s with that gap
  16. You can be grateful to Saban for a great opportunity, and not want to work for him anymore. Count me in the “I hope it’s not Golding” group though. With the hires of both Charlie and Tom I was perplexed that we didn’t go get someone who understood spread offenses and understood shutting down spread offenses. I think the numbers show Golding wouldn’t be a good candidate for that. But his one ‘bad year’ in 2019 had a crazy injury run on his side of the ball.
  17. Painful at this point, just waiting for Bama game to end so we can get actual news.
