  1. I’d hope that the severity would cause some shock, (and also do nerves burn to the point of non-functionality at some point until they recover?), such that the pain wouldn’t be unbearable until you are undergoing medical treatment and pain management medication is available. That also seems like a lot of time for bugs to embed in the injuries. I’d also like to think that his ability to make it to help means that his eyes, lungs, and throat are good.
  2. i noticed that as well, but I went as far as I thought appropriate in that thread.
  3. Release the files!!!
  4. Assuming they can’t skirt it due to saying they don’t actually live in Lexington, the state of Kentucky has a flat 3.5% income tax and Lexington has a 2.25% local income tax. So they’d have to get 106% of their Texas offer to break even? Was a quick google search so didn’t see if there are any caps or exceptions.
  5. As some of you may recall from recent events, it is possible to retain players that have entered or publicly intended to enter the transfer portal. So, we’re only mostly dead at this time.
  6. I’ve already hit on the religion thing once, but I’ll go back once more to ask genuinely from those that may share the same type of faith as they do- what’s with the fasting, and also why the need to be so specific with the prayer requests? Faith helps to endure tough things, so they have that going for them.
  7. Is baker to guard still happening because he knows it’s his nfl position?
  8. Are basketball broadcasts all over still littered with people saying someone is taking a shot? Would he have been safe if he had said sharpshooter instead of sniper?
  9. But not quite close enough to stop it altogether. Anyway, I’ll assume he got himself out of the fire/bobcat and made his way to a truck or atv and drove to help, which is all plenty badass. If it was a controlled burn as some of you have speculated, that shouldn’t be a solo task. Burst hydro line or I guess fuel line onto hot motor sounds more plausible since he was out there by himself.
  10. lol it’s shut down today from a power outage, possibly caused by…heavy snow.
  11. Fair point. My post assumed the entirety of the healthcare cost was moved to the individual, and paid for by either individual taxes or by having the individuals opt in and pay 100% of their cost. Obviously (I think) if there is still a burden on companies to help pay health care, that would be factored in. Addendum: my family had never used health insurance for anything major until last year, when my son was gifted with a kidney laceration via a soccer injury. Even with our higher deductible HSA plan, it wasn’t too financially painful to cover his 3 days in ICU and further week in a hospital bed. Paying 5k or thereabouts into the system for 20 odd years probably was surpassed in billing by this one incident.
  12. If we manage to decouple insurance from employment, what are the odds that the employers move all of the cost savings to employee pay? You might do it with your company of 100, but how many would work the numbers and deliver that money to employees to pay for their own health care rather than keep some or all of it?
  13. That billboard should be in the ransom center next to the Gutenberg Bible.
  14. But it’s not -30 there very much of the winter.
  15. Waffle? Postcard? Guys, she can remote into their minds and say hi whenever she feels like it if she’s alive.
  16. Most places where mountain ascent are likely have chains in their rentals, do they not? Maybe it’s something that you can request- probably at a surcharge. I’d also order an awd rental.
  17. Well hello Mr snow Road opened on Monday, too. Too bad I probably can’t get up there until the weekend. Unbelievable the difference from a month ago.
  18. He says the cartels run Mexico, and wants to strike the cartels. That for sure counts.
  19. 5 pages back so apologies, but it also works with
