  1. That would have been the sun bowl in el paso, where we pasted Mack brown’s team.
  2. 🎵 when you just lost to the u to end your seaaaason the best that you can do is whoop and hump 🎵 - gomer’s theme
  3. But neither of them are going to almost win, whoop!
  4. I wonder if Michigan would have any interest in elko, and if the new contract 1)is signed and 2) would make moving prohibitively painful if he were to quit.
  5. Were the Haitians not really stealing and eating pets? But did they still lose their status as refugees and get sent back to (checks notes) Haitia?
  6. Where for sale pls
  7. All they had to do was beat one of the two of them in September. 0-2. I don’t want to hear about season-long improvement unless Texas also gets that attribute- and we actually beat one of those teams in the regular season and also beat another playoff team.
  8. Grizz/cats on abc. Greatness. I hope it gets views.
  9. Hadn’t seen the Wiggins news until just now. Outstanding hire. Couldn’t have chosen better myself. they lose both transfer wrs and the rb?
  10. And bless the longhorns for beating aggy and then the committe using that loss to drop them all the way to 7. 5 and 6 are easy wins this playoff. 7…well they found their level didn’t they.
  11. Roller coaster was a cliff this season. Fun twist.
  12. And you feel comfortable calling other people morons?

  15. Why do all these people look so goddamn weird?
  16. No driving means no driving. So what are they doing driving up there?
  17. Says he will be back when they go to Chicago to take on the big blackhawks.
  18. But the poor could shut you out of college, which is a prerequisite for law school, which I believe is strongly encouraged in order to pass the bar. Which you have to do in order to practice law, which you need to do well in order to move up to partner or whatever. Lots of rungs on the ladder but at least for a while it was all a single interconnected ladder and you could go from the bottom to the top.
  19. And are willing to work cheaper- hence all the visa workers.
  20. Still deciding whether or not to read the piece. But from my perspective, if previous opportunities were only or primarily afforded to white males, and those opportunities suddenly (or even gradually) opened to others such that the makeup begins to look more like the general population, there is a price to be paid for that. is this a long form of
  21. James cromwell’s father?
  22. Our DEI group I think is a way to account for some money going to certain projects- and give structure to the whole endeavor. There isn’t someone drawing a salary to be DEI coordinator or anything else, but there are different groups (ECG or something- employee community groups or a similar term) like black employee group, lgbtq, Asian and Pacific Islander, etc. it’s all voluntary and not restricted to actually being a member of the group, I could join any of them if I felt compelled. they get budgets for education and outreach, might raise funds for things, and generally try to help their group. and that is internal stuff, aside from the goal of recruiting talent from all over to build the best teams. Those groups probably help with this aspect as well. If you have a science day at a mostly tribal school, for instance, it probably helps to have NA folks there participating and sharing their experience. so yes, the government should absolutely be taking part in DEI activities. Or put another way, why would someone not want to be diverse, equitable, and inclusive- or not want their government or employer to be such?
