  1. Understood but they can only play who is on the schedule and they beat them up like they were supposed to.
  2. So 4 of those top 12 don’t play again before the playoffs, 4 more won’t drop out with a loss in the ccg, smu Boise and asu would just be replaced by the team that beats them. Thats 11 spots filled. Meaning, I think, that bama’s best and only chance at getting in is Texas beating Georgia. If playoff ranking matches ap. Tough to justify jumping Indiana based on how Indiana played this week, but with neither of them playing next week they’d almost have to do it now to have any cover if they care at all. Oregon penn st ohio state texas notre dame twnnessee acc winner big 12 winner mwc winner That’s 9. Must have miscounted above. Then Georgia, Indiana, bama?
  3. Also while I’m here, not a fan of drop back and read the defense passing when up close to the goal line. Too many bodies, and turnovers are as costly as they can be. Runs and pre-snap single reads like fades or whips if 1v1 is identified.
  4. Can the half splits be filtered for games where he played the whole game? I’m sure his 2h stats would look better if he got to throw all over Colo st, ulm, Florida in the second half the same way as he did in those first halves. Even Michigan he only had 3 passes I think in the second half.
  5. He panicked when they went ready for play and tried to run off instead of sending someone else off. That part was very funny. He was basically on the ball and thought he might be able to make it to the sideline while our entire team just watches I guess.
  6. Do we get to change a couple of poor plays into successful plays also? A couple spring to mind.
  7. Why did they leave off fisher and sumlin? i guess it’s just current coaches’ first years. What is this supposed to prove?
  8. And Cincinnati if we expand the footprint a little and ignore the fact that Cincy and tcu made it before Texas as well.
  9. Probably gamesmanship and play clock burning. But the ref said nope for some reason in this instance.
  10. That one was interesting because we substituted. Usually it feels like the ref gives too much time, or at least all that they need, for the defense to match, but this time as soon as the aggy dl got near the ball, it was put in play and he was stuck.
  11. If it leaves out of the south, it’s gonna have the same people aboard. If it leaves out of Galveston, those people will be aggy.
  12. Polo top button not buttoned. You are either about that life or you aren’t.
  13. Unless you take a Viking river cruise in Europe maybe.
  14. His last name is basically poor aggy
  15. These students don’t actually remember playing us, and all theyve been told is how they had the better team every year for the past 12 years and would have won all of those games. I’m sure there was a level of shell shock that the aggy student body hasn’t had since the mid 90s.
  16. We had just won the game and that man looks pissed the fuck off. He is not going to play nice next November.
  17. Get there early enough that you can ask that person to open the beer section for you at noon, so you get a chance to talk about the game and the celebratory beers you are buying.
  18. When we approached them about a home and home in 22/23, it was telling that their answer was a quick “we’re full those years” instead of trying to work out a postponement with Miami or outright dumping one of their buy-a-wins with Lamar or Kent state each season to make it happen. While we’ve worked with Arkansas in the past to accommodate them (fucking Arkansas!) and moved a Michigan game up to this year for tv and conference reasons, plus we or nd cancelled a series not long ago I when factors dictated. So these scheduling changes do happen- just more evidence that they were hiding from us. Not even a “hey we tried but contracts are contracts and we didn’t have contractual partners willing to work with us.” Just “sorry we are full those years.”
  19. And ticket allotment is equal, assuming we sell ours, unlike a game in Athens. There may be enough longhorns in dc/virginia/carolinas/Atlanta to take care of our allotment without anyone traveling from Texas.
  20. I made the same mistake last Sunday by saying we could give them and aggy their fourth losses.
  21. First real exposure to him talking was the part of this post-game that I watched. He looks like a typical meathead football coach, but he speaks like someone of good intelligence. Doesn’t make him a great coach in and of itself, but being smart is better than the alternative in most professions. Which could bode well for them/ except for the fact that he doesn’t sound like them so they won’t give him any kind of runway before running him off the Ben though they loved him as DC. I mean, he started from a position of “we should have done better but at least he’s not mark stoops” with the fanbase.
