  1. Or investigate Lost River Ammo .45 ACP loads. No, I’m not affiliated in any way. Just a very satisfied use.
  2. From a limestone ledge overlooking the mighty (?) Colorado: TEXAS!
  3. I’m 70. It was West Texas. Different world 60 years ago.
  4. My grandmother taught me to drive at 10 so I could wheel her up Highway 70 from Clarendon to Pampa so “we” could go shopping in her ‘64 Catalina. “Keep the needle under that 70 mark.” When my grandfather found out, he stuck me on a tractor. Hell, I bought my first vehicle at 13-$100 for a ‘37 Ford pickup.
  5. Where??? I need to go there………………
  6. Seems to me, as an old fart fan, that Dak rolls all the best and the worst of Craig Morton, Gary Hogeboom, and Danny White into one package; tremendous physical abilities, highly suspect decision-making, and lacking leadership abilities completely. The Cowboys are turning me into a Sunday soccer fan……..
  7. Probably need to change up your drug intake.
  8. Serrations? Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker. Videos out there to make it clear; my daily carry is a non-serrated blade since I don’t cut many ropes, but I own several serrated ones……..
  9. I was born at Wichita General. My father’s first degree was from Midwestern. Our little family got the hell out. Even my sentimental mother hated going “home” to Iowa Park to visit her parents. It’s an amazingly dreadful place-debatably worse than collie station.
  10. Aw, it’s a lightweight summer entertainment movie. I always wonder if Kevin Bacon needs his dosage adjusted on something or other. Some of the bits are pretty good-but don’t expect “Chinatown.”
  11. Had Holy Smokes! BBQ from Marble Falls on the 4th. Not impressed, undercooked and very chewy. Maybe the holiday rush? I’ll let somebody else test during a “normal” week.
  12. Hah! I’ve heard it all. Best British sports car ever built. Besides, I have discovered that an old guy, very grey and hatted can drive like a maniac and LEO just yawn. Needs a 4th set of tires at 73,000, though.
  13. I was watching right for deer, jackrabbit came from my left; destroyed the bumper cover, the air dam, and both interior and exterior front fender (left). My F150 probably would have shrugged it off, too. Besides, body work is hellaciously expensive because insurance is involved………….
