  1. I'm watching on sportsurge Finally found a stream that worked.
  2. Remember when I almost died there?
  3. Chapultepec is a nice are to stay with a lot of bar/restaurant options. Just use Uber - it's cheap. My friend and I got an Uber to Guachimontones which is a must see (about 30 minute drive) and then we asked about driving to Tequila which is another hour away. The nice guy drove us all around Guadalajara showing us sites and small cities for the day. I think the total cost was around $100. Tlaquepaque is fun. Go there on a Friday or Saturday night - or both nights. Visit the markets for some good food. I don't remember where all we ate, but you can't go wrong eating the seafood. Find a good torta ahogada. Eat birria and drink plenty of Cazuela. And of course tequila.

    Happy Hour

Pistolero's a couple of blocks over isn't bad either. The scene is hit or miss.

    Happy Hour

I miss Poison Girl 3-7 happy hour. $2.50 well and draft beer. Damn inflation is now $4
  6. Ace is the place but it's pricey. InterContinental New Orleans isn't a bad option if you are looking to save a few dollars.
  7. I would love to see another season, but I think this is the perfect ending, The End
  8. I randomly found the The Tchoup Yard during Memorial Day Weekend. Huge patio area and nice indoors if it's too hot. Pretty good food and the frozen French 75 was good.
  9. Fun City. Lot's of restaurants and bars in the Strip District. Quite a few breweries in Lawrenceville - The Church Brew Works is a pretty cool place. The Mattress Factory is interesting with three different buildings all with different art. I never made it to the Andy Warhol Museum.
  10. Take that $1600 and enjoy your life. Not many people are in the position you are. Or just half it and spend $800 for booze/hooker money and save the rest.
  11. The last bit about his mom was the perfect ending of his life
  12. Fucking people read Twitter like it's factual news
  13. I hope the locals will get you out of Polanco. Nice area but much better scene elsewhere
  14. because he wasn't black?
  15. Snoop Dogg's version is better
  16. Goodnight Charlie's was great It was the only place to see good and free live music.
  17. I've read good reviews about Flora and decided to check the place out. Beautiful place. I opened the menu, gave it a glance, and then left. Prices are outrageous. WTF is $20 queso?
  18. Speaking of cider. City Orchard has excellent cider.
  19. It's been a couple of years since I've traveled internationally. The Global Entry facial recognition feature is pretty cool, but also WTF.
  20. The latest J-Bar-M gossip
  21. ^^^^ That is how you do CDMX. I'll be there for a 4 night trip next next week. They are getting into the craft beer scene and will be hitting up some of the breweries. I haven't been to the Coyoacán borough yet looking forward to it.
  22. Sounds like ownership wanted to go a different direction based on the article. Toomey might is older than Armybrat so who knows what he's thinking. J-Bar-M owner John Toomey, a nonagenarian who built the restaurant as a lifelong barbecue dream, said “While we had some operational differences with Willow and Jasmine, we are deeply grateful for the time and heart they’ve dedicated to J-Bar-M Barbecue.” “Our plan was always to expand the restaurant to include evening service and a more extensive bar program so we could offer guests more of a dinner experience,” says Toomey.

    Houston BBQ

Patricio Swayze is going to be sad. Pitmaster Willow Villarreal and chef Jasmine Barela are leaving J-Bar-M in EaDo. Sounds like ownership wants to go in a different direction regarding light night food and bar service. .
  24. I might have to check this out. It would be nice to not wait in line and not be guilting into tipping after spending $10 for a beer. HOUSTON, TX – The Astros have collaborated with Amazon to equip two food and beverage stores at Minute Maid Park with Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, providing fans a faster and easier shopping experience during the 2022 Major League Baseball season and beyond. The Just Walk Out technology-enabled ‘19th Hole’ store is located on the Concourse level behind Section 156, and the Just Walk Out technology-enabled ‘Market’ store is located on the Honda Club level behind Section 211. Both stores offer a selection of snacks, soda, candy, and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages. The Concourse level store also offers pre-packaged salads, wine bottles, and souvenirs. Shopping at a location powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology is designed to be an effortless experience. Fans visiting the two Just Walk Out technology-enabled stores can insert their credit card at the entry gates to shop. Once they’re inside, anything they take off the shelf is automatically added to their virtual cart, and anything they put back on the shelf comes out of their virtual cart. When fans have completed their shopping experience, they will be able to just leave the store and the credit card they inserted will be charged for the items they took.
