    Crawfish

It is not crawfish season. Damnit!!
  3. And they will have a ROY contender in the outfield.
  4. https://houston.eater.com/2019/1/16/18184669/drink-wine-pringles-can-the-branch-bar-houston A Houston Bar Will Serve Wine Out of Pringles Cans - The Branch for merlot served in the classiest vessel possible Inspired by a Wichita Falls woman barred from a Walmart store for riding around the parking lot with a Pringles can full of wine, Spring Branch bar the Branch will offer Houstonians a similar opportunity to get lit. On Wednesday, The Branch will serve wine in mini cans of Pringles. A photo posted to the bar’s Facebook page indicates that the bar’s “Texas Wine Service” will feature mini cans of (original flavor, for those who are curious) Pringles filled with either chablis or merlot — of the boxed wine variety — for $3 each. No word yet on what Franzia merlot tastes like when mingled with tiny bits of potato chip and salt. The incident that inspired the Branch’s classiest new offering has earned viral attention, and has been written about by countless publications. According to ABC 11 in Wichita Falls, the woman had been roaming the WalMart parking lot on an electric shopping cart with her wine-filled Pringles can for about three hours before police responded to the scene after a call about a “suspicious person.” The woman has not been identified, and was not arrested. The Branch will start slinging wine-filled Pringles cans at 10 p.m. on Wednesday night. Here’s hoping that all who partake will call an Uber instead of heading to the nearest WalMart parking lot. We call this "Texas Wine Service". Suckit, Florida! Your choice of "Chabliss" or "Mer-Lot" for $3. Served in Pringles...

    Bakery

La Sicilia is a good Italian bakery
  6. What EuroHorn said. The EU Commission Hdq is a nice area, but I wouldn't make it home base.
  7. I assume this happened during offseason training
  8. It's going to be interesting to see what SiriusXM is up to after they acquire Pandora.
  9. That's a pretty good area for Amsterdam. Not in the thick of everything, but that's good because you wouldn't see random stuff otherwise. One night in Bruge is fine if you arrive fairly early in the day. Anywhere in the city center is good. It's small so you really can't go wrong unless you are picky about your accommodations. However I grew up in Houston. I love Houston. If i grew up on a farm, and was retarded, Bruges might impress me, but I didn't so it doesn't.
  10. Texadelphia has been open since November. I guess they don't feel the need to get the word out. It was fairly busy a few Sunday's ago during the football game.
  11. Bungalow Heights, Wicklow Heights, Providence Heights, and Eureka Heights are all close by. I'm visiting all of them Friday.
  12. As a stated in the 2018 thread, I'm still surprised a lot of you thought this was a good team. I think Romeo is fine. The defense held the Colts to 21 points with the offense going 4 and out the 1st half. He needs the players to execute, but they aren't capable.
  13. anthem yes. I will not remove my hat for god bless america damnit
  14. Bunch of old people here. Although I do agree hats should be taken off at the table
  15. I did that once in late July. Downtown to Shepherd & 11th. Think I sweated off 2 lbs water weight.
  16. To be fair, there are a lot of idiots on this football board.
  17. I give the Texans players and coaching staff a bye last season because half the starters were injured.
  18. Steven Avery might not be book smart, be he has street smarts. He actually sounds pretty intelligent when talking with his lawyers about the case.
  19. Yep. Do you not remember they Indy and Philly games. They won't go past the 2nd round of the playoffs. I've stated many times this season that the Texans are just an average team that got a lot of good breaks.
  20. An offensive line, healthy WRs, a cornerback or two.
  21. You just told me that the Astros had a plethora, and I would just like to know if you know what it means to have a plethora. I would not like to think that someone would tell someone else he has a plethora, and then find out that that person has no idea what it means to have a plethora.
  22. If I'm Cal McNair, I get on the phone with Jeff Luhnow and Daryl Morey immediately after the season and take them out to dinner. Ask if there is any whay their nerdy analytics would work in the NFL.
