I kept waiting for ".... well in fairness, basically no one offered Brewer, much less a school like Texas" but it never came. Odd.

That would necessitate them being educated about the subject at hand and it was pretty obvious they were idiots.

  2. I don't think there's anything wrong with them showing support for their kid by wearing Baylor stuff at DKR. I'm sure the kid is heated that he was dissed by us even when we've been walking the desert at QB for years. And it's pretty obvious that Brewer is a better QB than Shane so we did mess up by not offering him. My frustrations lie with the announcers and not really the Brewer family.

    Not with sound carry on.

The announcers stated what I posted in the original post every two minutes the entire game instead of providing commentary about the game. And when they did provide commentary they were extremely bad and inaccurate.

  4. I don't know who Rod was but it was obvious they were rooting for Baylor hard the entire game. I honestly have never heard a worst broadcast ever in my life. That coupled with the constant TV commercials and breaks made for an unbearable game to watch.

  5. Did you guys know that:

    • He wasn't offered by Texas.
    • His father, Robert Brewer, played QB at Texas in the 1980's.
    • His grandfather, Charles Brewer, was a Texas quarterback in the 1950s.
    • His uncle, Rob Moerschell, followed his father Robert Brewer as Texas’ starting quarterback.
    • He wore a Vince Young jersey as a kid growing up in Austin.

  6. Maybe you guys seem to forget that Shane is a phenomenal deep ball thrower. Anyone watch his first game ever against ND? Love that everyone expects him to just roll out and sling ice.

That was long ago and he hasn’t demonstrated those capabilities since then. Gilbert’s offense suited him in that respect.

The more I've thought about this game the more nervous I get. UT won't go turnover~less forever, and the offense is due for one of those games where Sam tosses a pick + the ball gets put on the ground twice and by bad luck the defense picks it up. Turnovers, ( fumbles especially ) as one of those things that tends to revert back to the mean "suddenly", as in you might go 4 games without putting the ball on the ground, then have one game where you do it 4 times.

Baylor's linebackers are so bad that it just might keeping them from being able to compete at all, and that is certainly the most likely outcome here. Their front 7 couldn't hold up against Duke so I don't think they can hold up tomorrow. The most likely result is UT just breaking off ~5 big plays and pulling away late as they have to abandon the run game and the defense can T off on the pass.

I also think there is a real chance (~33%) Baylor goes +2 in turnovers and we are shitting bricks on Saturday with a one score game with 5 minutes left.

Get a grip dude jesus christ.

Then slide into his DM's.  We don't need it in this thread.

Na I'm not that curious. I just thought if you're going to accuse some posters of being inadvertently racist that you would explain why you think that is the case so they learn from their mistakes. I agree though its best that it just dies here before some distasteful material is posted that can be used against the fan base.

Welp, looks like Warren might have straight-up flipped (EJ just CB'd him to the good guys)

You can always count on there being something expensive in the background of one of his photos. Beat headphones and Macbook. Talk about confidence issues good lord.

    Because it is his job?

And because he might need to adjust the defense?

And because it throws off ou's timing?

    You seem a little confused.

He took a time out therefore it was NOT painfully obvious to the players. Keep trying though... obviously your stance on this is very important to you that you have to keep defending it.

We have 9 seconds left to protect the lead and they clearly have something special dialed up.  We have a time out.  You use it no matter how obvious you think it is just to make sure there's no confusion.  It was the right call, and the play went nowhere.

Of course, I completely agree. Yet this clown MrPlegm is making it seem like what they were going to do was so obvious that Riley should have just explained what they were trying to do in the press conference because there's no point in attempting to hide the details for future use.

Ummmm... yes I know what they did and why we called the time out. Maybe if you paid attention to the context of my response you would understand that I was explaining why Lincoln would respond with "no comment" when asked what he was doing in this play.

He responded with no comment because he is a pussy ass dick gobbling bitch. And no response doesnt do shit because it was BLATANTLY OBVIOUS what the dick gobbler was trying to do with the munchkin cryler. Duh.

If it was blatantly obvious why would our coach use a time out to explain the obvious?
