  1. You want to feel frustrated? Watch Luka on that last defensive possession. Then watch his teammates' reactions. They'd been putting up all night with his complaining on no calls and it culminated in that.
  2. During the pandemic I threw out several burnt orange IM champion tshirts because they'd faded to more of a Tennessee Orange than the burnt orange they originally were. Yeah they were 20 years old but it happened.
  3. Fading to a Tennessee Orange would add to the appeal of it?
  4. Color me skeptical on burnt orange denim not fading in the wash.
  5. Michelin lost a lot of credibility once they started branching out to non-Japan Asia. These Texas ratings just confirm that.
  6. Saturday afternoon on Thanksgiving weekend with no game in town? You'll find parking.
  7. The entire season his poor shot selection has kept us out of any rhythm. He's being stubborn trying to shoot his way out of a slump instead of of being smart. He's so IQ deficient in some ways.
  8. So you could care less? What a moment for you and your family, congratulations!
  9. What a game from Kyrie. It's too bad our coach refuses to scheme a way to make it easier on our players.
  10. It's the Jason Kidd way. "Luka is the game plan." - Jason Kidd 2023 Jason Kidd does not make us better. He's basically JB Bickerstaff.
  11. i'm watching the nuggets broadcast and even the nuggets announcers were shocked they didn't overturn that. they brought up how we got hosed last game in phoenix the same way. it's so frustrating.
  12. Losing DJj has hurt more than I thought it would. We also don't have anyone who can guard the team's best player like he could.
  13. Lively's hurt. We didn't have PJ tonight either. Even with both of them though our defensive rebounding has been problematic. Luka needs to pull his head out and stop taking those fadeaways. Kidd needs to say something to him but it's Kidd. The same Kidd who has no other inbound play other than give it to Luka moving away from the basket so he can attempt a circus shot.
  14. Perimeter defense and defensive rebounds have been such a problem this year.
  15. How much is room/board etc per year at Arkansas?
  16. They couldn't be bothered to spell Overshown correctly? Honestly though he was wildly inconsistent in his time here. I didn't think he'd be a consistent contributor on Sundays.
  17. Everyone has a moral compass. How do you separate an opinion from the framework of your morality? That's what you're asking for but only for the religious.
  18. I appreciate your thoughts. I reject your premise that not choosing a side nullifies one's personal impact. Government is not the only way to make a difference. In fact, it shouldn't be the primary way one makes a difference. The hungry man doesn't care who you voted for when you feed him. @immamac had a similar post on election night- don't rely on government to be the change.
  19. If you have no intention of listening past your prejudices why are you here? This thread's not for that. Same for you. There's room for your unbridled ranting in every other thread in the CR. There are people attempting to have actual conversations in good faith here. It's fine if you don't but no one wants to hear about it.
  20. 1.) You might conflate me with the Texas GOP but that's a you thing. 2.) No. I am not. You don't know what I work for and what I give money to. Again, you might conflate me with the boogieman in your mind but that's a you thing.
  21. Isn't that how it works? We all form opinions and vote based on our moral imperatives.
  22. It's complicated though isn't it. OP called for a truce in this thread to discuss - frankly I'm surprised this thread has lasted this long. I believe there are things that are right as by the nature and laws of God. I've outlined several of them in my first post- issues I disagree with both within the D and R party. I might vote for a candidate from one or the other but I don't consider myself or tether myself to one party.
  23. I'm against it, mostly. I do recognize there are situations where it needs to be an option so a complete ban is in my opinion too rigid. Most of my closest friends are Christians between 25 and 50. I'm thinking the 20 people closest to me- out of that group maybe 1 would wholeheartedly support the GOP. I haven't seen you ask me any questions, just statements. I feel I've fleshed out my thinking quite clearly but maybe I haven't. Where are you confused?
