  1. How do we know that didn't happen before the end of JW4 though?
  2. Two best locations would be the statesman complex and somewhere in Robinson ranch. Never gonna happen though.
  3. i didn't recognize that was chip brown.
  4. i know a KXAN first warning weather graphic when i see it.
  5. sounds like they overtenderized and the marinade sat for too long but two and a half hours shouldn't do that. that's something that happens over the course of like 24+ hours. was it an unusually thin cut and when they tenderized it they essentially turned it into ground beef?
  6. gray ratsnake
  7. no way... that's crazy if true.
  8. Virtual background worked before on this laptop?
  9. Can't enjoy just watching the game though.
  10. He said he avoided watching the original so he wouldn't be imitating Gervais- picking up on his mannerisms and timing etc. I think the first episode was an exact copy of one of the episodes from the British series' first season so in speaking with Merchant and Gervais about it some of David Brent's character might have come through. He did a great job letting his vision of the character come through though.
  11. Just like Dre the legal eagles didn't want you forgetting about them.
  12. Imagine you're in the kitchen looking for something to kill a snake. You go with crowbar?
  13. the game's slowed down this year for quinn just like when it slowed down for colt. it's a beautiful thing to watch.
  14. 🙏
  15. does PSA grade student IDs?
  16. that doesn't look good at all. the american version worked because carell made michael scott his own and didn't try to imitate gervais's david brent. that lady in the trailer acts like bizzaro world michael scott. plus after how many seasons of the american office, that type of joke has run its course. not to mention those types of jokes come across pretty cringy in modern society. the casting where all the main players have switched genders is just odd.
  17. In my world it's officially (Bloomberg, Morningstar, SP) classified as the Energy sector with industries referred to as O&G Integrated, O&G Midstream, O&G Refining and Marketing, etc. Most of the time though (research reports, notes, discussions) the phrase "oil and gas" is used to denote that industry vs renewables and alts.
  18. Right, because this is taking away from the repair efforts at Deer Park. I know people don't like acknowledging mistakes so if you want to move on just move on, you don't need to keep arguing.
  19. They're both in the tech sector. Apple's a consumer electronic company. Nvidia's a semiconductor company. Exxon and ETP are both in the oil and gas sector. Exxon's the world's largest integrated energy firm. ETP is a midstream operator. I'm in finance, not energy. The label "oil and gas firm" has a distinct standard that will make you look like a first day hire if used in the wrong way. I'm surprised at the blowback and unwillingness to acknowledge an innocent misconception as if that discredits whatever point you're trying to make.
  20. See above. Exxon is an O&G firm. Energy Transfer Partners is a midstream firm. Big difference. You wouldn't say Apple and Nvidia are the same firm.
  21. They're part of the oil and gas industry but they're not an oil and gas firm. They own the infrastructure for and oversee the transport of oil and gas between the producers and the end users- they're a midstream company. Similar wording but there's an important distinction.
  22. what are your recommendations on some of the better books?
