  1. there are consequences (fines and suspensions mostly) for engaging in prohibited activities even in the absence of injuries. if there are injuries the punishment is that much more severe. this wouldn't be the first time an athlete lied about this. remember jeff kent breaking his wrist from falling off his truck while washing it? he was riding his motorcycle. or when monta ellis got injured in a pickup game of basketball? he was actually on a moped.
  2. are you his agent? you're the one who said he had no motivation so the rest of us are helping you out with that. there's a lot of circumstantial evidence out there. it's not hard to imagine a scenario where he got injured while doing something he wasn't supposed to and consequently tried to cover it up.
  3. i think both of those are true. whatever the reason his numbers are interesting too look at. while his 3p% has gone up from 38.5% to 40.2% on 1.6 more attempts per game what catches my eye is his 2 point % has gone up a lot. 43.1% last year to 51.7% this year on .6 more attempts. he's never been more efficient in his career (57.4%).
  4. i haven't seen the video but apparently there's footage of him returning to his apartment with his BMX bike. it's common to have prohibitions against skiing or surfing in pro athlete contracts so it wouldn't surprise me if BMX biking is on there also.
  5. My duke friend said lively never played like that in college. Is he the key to unlocking good Timmy?
  6. i didn't know we drafted ron darling.
  7. this guy shouldn't ever address a jury.
  8. the "draw a line down the middle and write the defense's rabbit holes on the left and proven evidence on the right" tactic is pretty good.

i believe that you are wrong
  10. His 1v1 defense is fine. He gets low marks for team defense when he falls asleep and misses assignments.
  11. grab your popcorn for this election cycle folks.
  12. Seems to me we need someone who can get decent swings on out of system and imperfect sets.
  13. I liked it in terms of talent and skillset fit when the trade happened. I'm coming around on the personality the more I hear and read from those who cover the team.
  14. Timmy is playing really well. We've been trying to trade him for a long time but I hope we make a trade that gives us talent in an area we need instead of just giving us financial flexibility. Several times this season he's been the only one who can score for like half a quarter.
  15. The Kyrie hate is overblown. Some of his previous teammates might not be his biggest fans but most players love him. The Dallas media have no problem with him. Other than that it's a bunch of social media generated hype amongst casuals. It probably helped Kyrie that his issues were framed as Ky vs the NBA FO.
  16. I was only half paying attention but we went on a 30 something to 4 run at one point. I'm going to rewatch this.
  17. That's quite the busy face
  18. what, tom cruise wasn't believable as a 6'5" blonde fighting freak of nature?
  19. and derrick jones jr. i was so wrong about him. i didn't think he'd make an impact but he is a difference maker on defense.
  20. interestingly enough nimitz's background was as a submarine expert and they weren't well represented on this list.
  21. I've never thought having two MVP candidates from the same team made sense.
