  1. You know I didn't like when espn fired all of those color guys but this pairing of jj and RJ is awesome. Love how JJ is pushing rj's buttons.
  2. They need to take that mic off Jason kidd. It just makes him look even more clueless.
  3. Was wondering if it's a fake site. Wemby's mom is Hillary Banks?
  4. i think that's 1993, that's the arlington stadium patch on kenny's left arm we wore that year before we moved into the temple. at first glance i didn't think that was benji gil, thought it was mario diaz. but mario diaz in person is quite short which leads me to think that's benji though i remember him being skinnier at that point of his career.
  5. this is the therapy thread? my oldest was 8 months old. we were a strike away and i was holding him in between feedings, marvelling that i'd had to wait decades to see the mavs and rangers win a championship but now my son was going to "see" them win one each within the first year of his life. that didn't work out. i have 4 now and no dallas teams have won a championship since. you better believe i'll wake them up to watch us pitch that last strike.
  6. vegas has our o/u at 43 games. 43-39 would've been good for 7th in the western conf last year.
  7. Jonah never played a minor league game in our system. Nate had been in the show for a while. I thought adolis spent some time in AAA but BR shows he didn't. Yeah leclerc is a product of our system. Of the 7 guys in our bullpen though I think he's the only one. Oh Martin Perez of course.
  8. Edit: adolis did not, I thought he did.
  9. Evan Carter. Leody taveras. Adolis Garcia. Josh Jung. Half of our lineup came up thru our system.
  10. Anyone watched Hannah Klugman play? She's a brit. 14 years 8 mos, youngest to qualify for a w100 event.
  11. The season starts tomorrow against the Spurs. Will we be the first victims of the Wemby era? Bigger questions for our team: Do we have a leader? Can Luka learn to pick and choose his moments to complain? Are we bought into our roles on defense (ahem Luka)? Will Kyrie and Luka level up after an off-season together? How do DL2 and OMP fit in? Will Josh Green take the next next step and assert himself? What does Jaden Hardy's development look like? Is Hardaway really still on this team? Who gets more minutes, Richuan Holmes or Dwight? Are we going to be fighting for a play-in spot again? Let's goooooooo!
  12. i love the national gallery. i also love the british museum. it's my favorite museum in the world. A History of the World in 100 Objects is a great read, almost a prerequisite, before going to the british museum. it highlights 100 of the most important artefacts at the museum. something not mentioned in this thread yet- st martin in the fields. it's right off trafalgar square, across the street from the national gallery. get in there for one of their concerts. they have loads of them. my favorite ones are the lunch concerts. they're cheaper than the night concerts and you don't have to make reservations. if you do make a reservation for an evening concert there's a bistro in the crypt that's alright but if you're feeling adventurous make a quarter mile trek or so north of the church on st martin's lane towards leicester square and see what suits your fancy. i've seen it briefly mentioned twice but i want to enforce the recommendation for going to greenwich- the national maritime museum and the royal observatory are there. tremendous museums which could easily both fill several hours of your day. i wouldn't recommend going to both in one day as they're both informationally dense. sunday roast - pick a spot and make a reservation.
  13. he's a c list sportswriter, not as successful as he makes himself out to be, and as you can tell a proud fightin aggie.
