  1. Have them send us a post card from State College PA.
  2. CHINOS. Christians in name only.
  3. I was also at the Bama game. Trust me, the amount of electronic bufoonery and the volume at DKR far exceeds what we witnessed at Bama.
  4. The explain how Bama continues to get 5 stars by the bus load. The game experience there is nothing like you described.
  5. Did anyone notice the premature ignition of one of the spark-shooting T-E-X-A-S flags before the team ran out? It erupted while laying on the ground and shot its entire load in the middle of the cheerleaders and band.
  6. This is 100% accurate. It was impossible to talk over the volume of the Jumbotron. When the sound stopped, there was silence in the stadium because no one was even thinking about yelling or cheering.
  7. Sark challenged the spot. Refs took about 10 minutes to decide that a spot can't be challenged. No idea why replay official didn't get involved.
  8. This talking point perfectly encapsulates the aggy worldview. Texas can't be judged based on one game against the worst Bama team in 15 years. Yet the entire premise of Bama being "down" is based on the same sample size of one game.
  9. Here is the excerpt from the Order. They are pointing out that a separate provision expressly includes the person's status at the time the action accrued. In certain circumstances, 28 U.S.C. § 1442(a)(1) permits “any officer (or any person acting under that officer) of the United States or of any agency thereof, in an official or individual capacity,” to remove a civil action or criminal prosecution from state court to federal court. Does that statute permit former federal officers to remove state actions to federal court or does it permit only current federal officers to remove? Compare 28 U.S.C. § 1442(a)(1), with 28 U.S.C. § 1442(b) (permitting removal of “[a] personal action commenced in any State court by an alien against any citizen of a State who is, or at the time the alleged action accrued was, a civil officer of the United States and is a nonresident of such State . . .”).
  10. Interesting wrinkle in the Meadows appeal. The 11th Circuit has asked for briefing on whether the removal right applies to former officials or only current officials. If only current, dotard and the rest have no path to removal. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/09/13/mark-meadows-federal-appeals-court-georgia-case/70840974007/
  11. For a group that vocally decries all forms of socialism, they don't seem to mind using other people's money when it comes to football.
  12. Man, how I've missed the days when we complained about being disrespected because someone didn't vote us higher than no. 7. Surly is back.
  13. Does he have the same agent as Jimbo?
  14. He also had a TD interception return so he was involved in the 2 most significant plays. And he was the game's MVP.
  15. Wasn't Darius the one who intercepted the shovel pass just before halftime and returned it for a TD? That was the biggest play of the game.
  16. Good thing the SEC office has told the refs not to penalize the horns down.
  17. This is really Bob Odenkirk reading a bad script, right?
  18. Has anyone actually seen the rules they adopted? Is it possible for the Senate to convict and then DP override that and order acquittal based on "insufficient evidence"?
  19. What a waste of a pair of beautiful eyes.
