  1. Can Angela evaluate even though she can't vote?
  2. Here is the excerpt from the Order. They are pointing out that a separate provision expressly includes the person's status at the time the action accrued. In certain circumstances, 28 U.S.C. § 1442(a)(1) permits “any officer (or any person acting under that officer) of the United States or of any agency thereof, in an official or individual capacity,” to remove a civil action or criminal prosecution from state court to federal court. Does that statute permit former federal officers to remove state actions to federal court or does it permit only current federal officers to remove? Compare 28 U.S.C. § 1442(a)(1), with 28 U.S.C. § 1442(b) (permitting removal of “[a] personal action commenced in any State court by an alien against any citizen of a State who is, or at the time the alleged action accrued was, a civil officer of the United States and is a nonresident of such State . . .”).
  3. Interesting wrinkle in the Meadows appeal. The 11th Circuit has asked for briefing on whether the removal right applies to former officials or only current officials. If only current, dotard and the rest have no path to removal. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/09/13/mark-meadows-federal-appeals-court-georgia-case/70840974007/
  4. For a group that vocally decries all forms of socialism, they don't seem to mind using other people's money when it comes to football.
  5. Man, how I've missed the days when we complained about being disrespected because someone didn't vote us higher than no. 7. Surly is back.
  6. Does he have the same agent as Jimbo?
  7. He also had a TD interception return so he was involved in the 2 most significant plays. And he was the game's MVP.
  8. Wasn't Darius the one who intercepted the shovel pass just before halftime and returned it for a TD? That was the biggest play of the game.
  9. Good thing the SEC office has told the refs not to penalize the horns down.
  10. This is really Bob Odenkirk reading a bad script, right?
  11. Has anyone actually seen the rules they adopted? Is it possible for the Senate to convict and then DP override that and order acquittal based on "insufficient evidence"?
  12. What a waste of a pair of beautiful eyes.
  13. "Roomer"? So there's a boarder problem?
  14. I'm thinking that there should be a value factor for the future mental anguish and loss of consortium to be suffered by the Dotard's lawyers from the cultists' threats and harassment after his conviction.
  15. So what are their thoughts on the Gutenberg Bible at the Ransom Center?
  16. The funniest part is that even after they figured out what had happened they decided to run with it rather than finding another venue. The very best people.
  17. The biggest change was the "other" vote going from 7.7M to 2.9M. Lots of people woke up and realized that a vote for anyone other than the D was a de facto vote for Dotard. They are not likely to revert.
