  1. We'll all drink poisoned kool-aid when he transfers to WSU or someplace.
  2. Is it a certainty that he actually signed a LOI to USC, or just committed at the all-star game?
  3. If it permanently eliminates odor, why would anyone need more than one?
  4. " . . . and they'll still continue to send fewer players to the nfl." As I posted in another thread: Players on 2018 NFL rosters:Texas 29, aggy 26. Pretty simple math. http://www.espn.com/nfl/college/_/letter/t (Too bad it's not 27-25.)

  6. 3. mumble ... mumble... Hillary's emails ... mumble
  7. Had we called a bootleg rollout on the 4th and 1, hell he might have scored. They sold all out up the middle. But good ol Linehan thought we needed a run up the middle. When it had not worked none all night. Here are all of the Cowboys' plays on first down against the Rams. * = first play of drive. * Elliott run 0 yards Elliott run 2 yards Pass to Cooper 29 yards, TD * Pass to Schultz 20 yards Elliott run 3 yards * Elliott run 5 yards *Pass to Elliott 12 yards Pass to Cooper 5 yards Elliott run 6 yards Elliott run 3 yards * Elliott run 3 yards * Elliott run -2 yards Pass to Gallup -1 yard Pass to Gallup 44 yards Elliott run 1 yard * Elliott run 3 yards Pass incomplete Elliott run -4 yards *Pass to Gallup 24 yards Pass incomplete Pass to Cooper 9 yards Pass to Cooper 9 yards Elliot run 0 yards 23 first down plays; 12 Elliott runs for 22 yards; 11 pass plays (9 complete) for 151 yards. Many of the pass plays were dictated by the game situation; 4 of the 5 first down plays on the last drive were passes. Of the 12 first down Elliott runs, ten were for 3 or fewer yards. The others were 5 yards and 6 yards.
  8. Aggy in January 2013: Highest final ranking since 1956 Best conference finish since 1998 28-point bowl win largest since 1990 No. 9 ranked recruiting class Win over national champs Alabama Returning Heisman Trophy winner We can't wait for the next 5 years. . . can you?
  9. No orange, but magenta is OK?
  10. ACC teams have won three of the last six national championships -- more than any other conference. Just sayin'.
  11. I guess aggy is gonna have to ask Bama to turn in their SEC card.
  12. No. You have to be somewhere once before you can go back.
  13. Thought this was kind of funny, but it also made me cringe. The 1990 Texas/OU game was on LHN this morning. After going 11-1 in 1983 (and a near-miss national championship ending in the 10-9 Cotton Bowl loss to UGA), in the following seasons Texas was 7-4-1; 8-4; 5-6; 7-5; 4-7; and 5-6. In the three games before OU, Texas beat Penn State, lost to Colorado, and beat Rice. Texas then beat OU 14-13 on a missed OU FG try on the last play. David McWilliams was interviewed on the field after the game and was asked "Is Texas back?" Of course he said yes, Texas was back. Texas won the rest of their games that year and were ranked 3rd in both polls going into the Cotton Bowl against Miami. What followed was an alltime butt-kicking, 46-3. The next year Texas went 5-6 and McWilliams was fired. Under Mackovic, Texas lost 4 or more games in 5 of the next 6 seasons, before Mack Brown was hired and actually brought Texas back.
  14. Might be the only time for that too.
  15. Interesting note: This season Texas played and defeated three of the premier programs - USC, OU, and UGA. I doubt that has ever happened before, but I am too lazy to try and research it. Since all have always been in different conferences, it would seem very unlikely.
  16. Or maybe it means to send all eleven guys at the other team's safety.
  17. We'll know his decision when the video announcement is released. It's in production at Texags right now.
  18. Was at the game. It was borderline erotic. Did I do that right?
  19. During the Texas Bowl ESPN ran a crawl that CB Dreande Baker would not play, and my wife asked "What does CB stand for?"
  20. They're going to trademark 41st Man.
  21. Related question: What is the purpose of having a player deep to catch a punt when the game situation dictates that there is no reward and very high risk? It seems like several times this year Texas has fielded a punt - or tried to - in the last few seconds of a half, when it served no purpose. In those situations, only bad things can happen - namely a fumbled punt or a penalty. For example, in the Iowa State game, ISU had a fourth and 12 with about 3 and a half minutes left, and lined up to punt. The score was 24-3. The game was over at that point, unless we did something stupid to create quick points. Yet we had a guy at our own 10 yard line to field the punt. It turned out to be a short kick and bounced out of bounds at the 15. Why even have someone to return in that situation? Is the benefit of saving a few yards with a fair catch worth the risk of a muffed punt at the 10 yard line?
