  1. We have all been spoiled by Craig Weigh. His overall quality, knowledge of what he is seeing, ability to communicate it without excess verbiage, showing honest enthusiasm at the appropriate times, and doing so from a Texas-centric viewpoint while avoiding homerism, is very unusual.
  2. Genius. I'm glad someone else saw this and had the skills to create the graphic. The resemblances are uncanny. BTW, I did a Google search for Jim Earle, whose name appears on the Hitler character, to see if maybe it was a self-portrait. Turns out the he was a bit of a legend, and just recently died. http://obituaries.jacksonvilleprogress.com/obituary/dr-james-apos-jim-apos-earle-1072601549 Seems like a pretty cool guy, with a bit of self-awareness. He wrote a cartoon strip for the Battalion with characters named Cadet Slouch, Simp. Cedric, Squirt, and Fish Jethro. Here's some of his other work.
  3. The letter to his successor will be a national treasure.
  4. 31% of Americans believe that the Holocaust did not occur or that the number of Jews killed is exaggerated. 38% of Americans believe that God created the earth and humans in their present form less than 10,000 years ago. 26% of Americans believe the sun orbits around the earth. 39% of Americans deny climate change or human causes. 41% of Americans believe that humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time. I submit that there is a considerable overlap in these groups.
  5. Jimbo came through on his promise of a top two class. Aggy just didn't understand he meant the state of Texas.
  6. Yeah, but we didn't really want to be there.
  7. Love the simple "State." Reminds me of Chip Hilton.
  8. Sometimes it's a fine line between sleeping and being in a permanent vegetative state.
  9. Nope, purple jerseys and white pants at home; white jerseys and purple pants on the road.
  10. An apostrophe denotes that something is missing or has been left out. With aggy, something is always missing and has been left out.
  11. We'll all drink poisoned kool-aid when he transfers to WSU or someplace.
  12. Is it a certainty that he actually signed a LOI to USC, or just committed at the all-star game?
  13. If it permanently eliminates odor, why would anyone need more than one?
  14. " . . . and they'll still continue to send fewer players to the nfl." As I posted in another thread: Players on 2018 NFL rosters:Texas 29, aggy 26. Pretty simple math. http://www.espn.com/nfl/college/_/letter/t (Too bad it's not 27-25.)

  16. 3. mumble ... mumble... Hillary's emails ... mumble
  17. Had we called a bootleg rollout on the 4th and 1, hell he might have scored. They sold all out up the middle. But good ol Linehan thought we needed a run up the middle. When it had not worked none all night. Here are all of the Cowboys' plays on first down against the Rams. * = first play of drive. * Elliott run 0 yards Elliott run 2 yards Pass to Cooper 29 yards, TD * Pass to Schultz 20 yards Elliott run 3 yards * Elliott run 5 yards *Pass to Elliott 12 yards Pass to Cooper 5 yards Elliott run 6 yards Elliott run 3 yards * Elliott run 3 yards * Elliott run -2 yards Pass to Gallup -1 yard Pass to Gallup 44 yards Elliott run 1 yard * Elliott run 3 yards Pass incomplete Elliott run -4 yards *Pass to Gallup 24 yards Pass incomplete Pass to Cooper 9 yards Pass to Cooper 9 yards Elliot run 0 yards 23 first down plays; 12 Elliott runs for 22 yards; 11 pass plays (9 complete) for 151 yards. Many of the pass plays were dictated by the game situation; 4 of the 5 first down plays on the last drive were passes. Of the 12 first down Elliott runs, ten were for 3 or fewer yards. The others were 5 yards and 6 yards.
