  1. Made duck gumbo Saturday. No pics. Did capture this pre-supper snack about half way through. Duck heart, andouille ends, and boudin link.
  2. Not at all. The point was there are no universal acronyms for the movies. Fire your temporal lobe for a nanosecond and decipher the first letter, anyone with 3rd grade reading level could figure out what the poster is indicating. “Y’all here that? We’re using code names” I did a simple thing at your request. Google list. Copy paste. Type first letter of movie title or it’s number in the series. All in one post ready for referencing. You missed the mark. Let me try. You must be the underpaid bitter middle manager that drives a Dodge Stratus. Accuses peers of being lazy, when he is too dim witted to perform a simple task himself then bitches about the way in which the 2 min task was performed on his behalf. Have a nice day. Heads up boss, it’s overcast out don’t tire yourself out yelling at the clouds or deciphering exceptionally complex acronyms.
  3. Puss. Hard to hold my meelers in these conditions, but I’ll manage.
  4. Anton C where are you getting that info? I know lots of people that have had animal strikes with guards that were resolved with a $2 at the spray and wash.
  5. These derail posts are making me surly
  6. That’s fictional timeline as laid out by Marvel Studio so they could try and make sense of Easter eggs and movies addressing events from other movies. CA1 is 1944, ICYMI ROTFLMFAO DCUSUX BRBOKTNXBAI
  7. It's Division I baseball! It's the SWC! It ain't intramurals! It ain’t the Big10! Go play intramurals, brother. Go play Big10 baseball.
  8. Is it really that hard to follow? Marvel movie timeline from wiki with obvious acronyms inserted by me. 1944 Captain America: The First Avenger (CA1 TFA or CATFA) 2010 Iron Man (IM or IM1) 2011 Iron Man 2 (IM2), Thor (T1) 2012 The Avengers (A1 or TA), Iron Man 3 (IM3) 2013 Thor: The Dark World (T2 or TDW or TTDW) 2014 Captain America: The Winter Soldier, (CA2 or TWS or CATWS) Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (GOTG 1&2) 2015 Avengers: Age of Ultron (A2 or AAOU or AOU), Ant-Man (AM1) 2016 Captain America: Civil War (CA2 or CACW) 2016–17 Doctor Strange (DrS or DS) 2017 Black Panther (BP), Thor: Ragnarok (T3 or TR), Avengers: Infinity War (A3 or IW or AIW) Incredible Hulk (IH) Spider-Man: Homecoming (SMH) Ant-Man and the Wasp (AM2 or AM&W) May be missing some, but come one in isn’t that hard.
  9. I think that the problem may have been, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf. Alright? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object.
  10. When, where, will they call it? I may need to cut out of work earlier to get a better jacket.
  11. Not in Olympic level athletes in the study Huck posted...unless they’re all already doping at the same level. Heheh “16·5% of men had low testosterone levels, whereas 13·7% of women had high levels with complete overlap between the sexes. Women had a lean body mass 85% that of men – sufficient to account for sex differences in performance. There were highly significant correlations between many of the measured hormones.”
  12. I don’t want a movie dog. I want a Papaya King hot dog.
  13. Dumb question amnesty: How do older males T levels compare to fit female at 25? I’ve never had my levels checked and don’t care to, but as that’s become popular for middle aged men there has to be a solid sample size. If T level is the only thing used to separate the sexes for sports would there ever be a case where an aging champion in golf or tennis switched to the female division at the end of his career? Are we talking order of magnitude base 10? Base 2? Or overlapping ranges? Edit: nevermind. should have finished the thread before posting. Huck posted they may overlap in Olympic athletes.
  14. In34. Took Jr, almost 4, to his first movie theater movie Lego 2. When we got home he wanted me to build a heart he could give to his sister. Hit me in the feels. He also had a questions about why my favorite character was the spaceman. Paraphrasing here - “Dad had tons and tons of spaceman legos in the 80s, but your ignorant stupid stupid grandmother threw/gave them away when he was in high school, and you should resent her forever for it”.
  15. The only recent news tied to his name are Facebook posts from various other LEOs and Departments sharing his statement and thanking him for “what needed to be said”
  16. Missed it yesterday, but probably undeserving of its own thread and this thread seems appropriate. George Mendonsa passed away yesterday 2 days short of his 96th birthday. Who is George Mendonsa? This is George. “As the perfect strangers locked lips, world famous photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt snapped four pictures in just 10 seconds...” "The excitement of the war bein' over, plus I had a few drinks," Mendonsa said. "So when I saw the nurse I grabbed her, and I kissed her." Thanks George you glorious slightly intoxicated VJ sailor, you. #notmetooera
  17. Not a crypto guy, but isn’t that one of the selling points. Blockchain currency = money = easily transferable, uniform, durable, supply driven, etc Paper or even electronic currency is slowly becoming a means to exchange sovereign states debt.
  18. Big Red with BBQ or any number of greasy foods is best in life.
  19. He is running for Mayor. “Self-funded!!!” If he can tie Turner to this I’m sure he’ll use it every chance he can get.
  20. Michael McDonald aka “Stuart” from MAD is in wig master and on the softball team in understudy (not sure of the actual episode name)
  21. I was offsite yesterday at our engineering contractor’s office. As I was unloading in stall #2 I heard the unmistakable noise of the gentlemen in stall #1 opening a ziplock bag and wiping his ass with home brought TP or wipes. I’m familiar with this phenomenon from my time at a previous engineering office. I don’t think anyone likes running single ply course weave tissue over their brown-eye, but it’s never occurred to me to smuggle in TP, even after I knew it was a thing. Is this people experiencing hemorrhoids? Licensed TBPEs suffer from overly sensitive poop chutes at a greater rate than other professionals?
  22. RadioLab has a new up about John Scott in the NHL AllStar game. Not much of an NHL guy, usually watch the post season, but I knew of the incident, but didn’t realize how badly he was getting bent over by management and league execs.
  23. Driving by an obese fella trying to burn some calories doing a near death walk/jog... “That guy is sloo-ow. He needs a red shirt like my Flash shirt. Lighting McQueen is red and fast too, KACHOOOW!” //Strong logical argument for burnt orange capes//
  24. Johnny Drama gifs and comments are gold, Jerry. Gold.
