  1. we are headed to hawaii in mid-june. we are headed to oahu first but would love to visit the other islands. best way to do that?
  2. DP
  3. There is NO DOUBT your statement is 100% true but it doesnt mean i am wrong about Card.
  4. go watch Card's senior game against North Shore. kid was under duress the whole game and he was nails. same for his senior year game against Westlake. he is a grinder. he battles and competes and never gives up. i know yall havent seen it yet but just wait. the kid is the real deal. he is excellent from the pocket but even better on the move. wait till he gets comfortable and then he will be a machine carving up the defense with accurate flat throws and then punishing them with his sub 4 sec shuttle when the pocket breaks down and he has to use his legs. i want what is best for UT. and i will be honest, after the Colorado game, i thought that was probably Casey. but now, im starting to think the Colorado game was fool's gold. I still think Casey is really good but just maybe not as good as he looked in the bowl game. I think Sark is playing this right. But at this point, I would be surprised if Card doesnt win the job outright. Either way, I am confident Sark will actually let them earn/win the job and we will be successful with whomever that is.
  5. Any other streams?
  6. Bijan is from another planet. Casey looked better early but got worse as the game went on. Card was ok early but improved as the game went on. That one drive where he carved up the defense was vintage LT Card. And that throw to Washington is something I have seen over and over again. The difference in arm strength was noticeable. I think we can win with either one but I thought Card looked clearly better today.
  7. i hope so. but we did that same shit last year and it led to uncovered receivers running through zones constantly because everyone had their eyes in the backfield instead of going through their reads.
  8. i HATE the concept of keeping eyes on the QB while trying to relate to routes and changing coverages based on route combinations. I think that philosophy is what leads to busted coverage more often than not. IMHO, the DBs should check QB at snap, if his hands are up, go to your reads, but if his hands are down, keep eyes in the backfield to determine if its run or PA. Its almost impossible to relate to routes and change responsibilities while looking in the backfield the whole time...
  9. this might just be the perfect silly action flick. we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
  10. 25% increase for us.
  11. I will and am totally positive that he will get right on that!
  12. My daughter's finalists were UT and UW. She was offered scholarships that made UW cost the same or even a little less than UT. So UW definitely competes for students they want. Our oldest is up there now as a SW engineer at Amazon. We are heading up there sometime late summer to spend some time with him and explore the city some more. We went summer 2019 to Seattle and Olympic. Loved it and can't wait to go back.
  13. we have a little bermuda mixed with a LOT of clover and crabgrass. any natural / non-chemical solutions? i have resisted using weed and feed but feel like that may be required at this point.
  14. its a bright and sunny day out here in LT land... oh what have we here?
  15. i mean its not just possible but likely...
  16. those boys are havin the time of their lives...
  17. Card is the real deal. He is a tough minded kid that won't buckle under the stress of the job. The stage will not be too big for him. His family moved to LT in 8th grade so he could play for LT. Kid was ready to play in the State Championship game against Allen as a soph who spent the whole year playing WR. He made a couple of mistakes early and then played his ass off to bring LT almost all the way back. He did the same thing against North Shore. He never gave up. He battled. Now, saying all of the above, I wouldnt have given Casey a chance until I saw him slice up Colorado. He looked like an epiphany in that game. I was like WTF??? If he can play like that all the time, it doesnt make a shit who is playing QB because they will be lighting it up!!!
  18. FUCK THAT. We have a ton of talent on this roster. With Flood in place and a great offensive scheme, our OLine will be and look much, much better. Every single player is a high three star to four star or better. They will be an above average unit. The RB is the shit. Heisman. The WR room is LOADED. IF we actually run route combinations aimed at getting them open rather than being stubborn about MAH offense. WRs will dominate. QB: we either get the second coming of Aaron Rogers or someone that made Colorado look like they just started playing football. QB in Sark's system will be in the Heisman conversation along with Bijan. QB will be way above average. The talent on D is elite. Put that shit in PK's scheme and we are going to fuck shit up in the B12. SHOW ME A LOSS!!!! B12 Champions, CF Playoffs. Watch out world, Texas is coming for ya!
  19. 28 hours later, took a nap from noon to 2 pm and feel brand new. I have also decided to throw away all the apple and android phones in the house. From this point forward, only windows phones for us!
  20. 20 hours in and no symptoms other than sore shoulder.
  21. 12 hours in! Wedding was fun and I'm feeling pretty pretty good. Just a sore shoulder so far.
  22. 2nd moderna shot 4 hours ago. So far, so good. Pray for me...
  23. Got 2nd moderna at noon. So far so good. I think I'm past the worst of it, right? Riiiiiiight? Headed to a wedding! Why not? Will report back if I'm still alive tomorrow.
  24. Good for Shaka and Texas. I think he will do well at Marquette. The Texas job was just too big for him. He was not equipped to coach the kind of players Texas recruits. His philosophy and style did not work here. I am excited to move forward with someone who can handle the big stage and looks to embrace the recruits and style needed at Texas.
