  1. sorry about that. i forgot to remind her not to do that again.
  2. T Sweat is a grown ass man! He looked good out there. Did I see him and Coburn out there at the same time?
  3. It's been a while since I have seen a Texas offensive line look like that and since I have seen that many athletes all over the field. The team looks really good. Looking forward to next week!
  4. Martin just whipped LT from start to finish. We will see if LT can figure it out and have a good season. Card looked good throwing the ball. His arm is noticeably stronger from last year. But when you can't run the ball and none of your receivers can get open, it makes it tough to put up points on offense. Card needs to relax and go through his reads a little more. I would also like to see him run a little more as well.
  5. NS played Katy first game last year also but didnt have much trouble with them. Katy dominated the second half.
  6. From the Hill Country: TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Zach Evans was a big part of NS's domination of LT. I think he had about 20 carries for close to 200 yards. But their backup had a 100 yards too. Evans looked bigger and thicker last year. He looked skinny during the game last night. Im not sure if he lost weight or not but he looked different. The biggest reason NS dominated LT was the line play on both sides. NS's offensive line did whatever they wanted with LT's front 7. Same goes for NS's D vs LT's offensive line. Last year, NS's lines did the same thing to Katy, maybe not to the same degree. From watching the game last night, it does not look like NS has even close to the same level of line play on either side of the ball. It will be interesting to watch if they figure it out over the season.
  8. i dont hear a lot about the offense but i can verify most of the defensive stuff as true and correct. and i havent heard anything to the contrary from the staff. Green, Cook, and Jamison are your best corners. Boyce will start. because of Cook's suspension and a little concern over Jamison's size. They LOVE Watson. I wouldnt be surprised if he takes a spot next season. Safeties will help the corners and try to erase any mistakes made. Coburn, Ojomo, Sweat are all stars in the making. Ossai is going to be the dominant pass rusher we havent had since... ? The D staff feels better than ever before with their install and the players getting "it." There shouldnt be any more surprises like Maryland. They have their guys in place at almost every position and level. They are ready to roll.
  9. or she will accept the offers that she already has to play for a symphony/orchestra.
  10. my son's girlfriend is a music major at oberlin. she is incredibly talented and could have gone almost anywhere.
  11. And I bet y'all are happy he is back as well! Our oldest gets back on Friday. He studied abroad in France for the spring semester and has been in Seattle all summer for an internship. We can't wait for him to come back home where he belongs!
  12. Moving our daughter into Kinsolving on Friday. The two older boys move into their house with 5 of their friends on Saturday.
  13. He transferred to the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns.
  14. Ossai will be rushing the passer on most downs. While we call ourselves a 3 man front, it is silly to not include Ossai. He is as more of a DE than a LB in our scheme and will be sent after the QB regularly. Pretty similar to a pass rushing OLB in a 3-4. I expect him to lead the team in sacks and to be more productive than Omenihu from a pass rushing perspective.
  15. the problem for the republicans is that they gerrymandered the shit out of the urban areas by diluting them with the suburbs. the suburbs are trending democratic if they havent already turned blue. essentially the republican plan to dilute the brown people with the white people is going to backfire as it becomes more of an educated vs dumbass fight. so all of those educated people in the burbs will cast their vote for the democrats along with the urban folks turning most if not all of the urban areas blue, and the republicans will be left with the idiot rednecks living in their trailers out in the middle of nowhere.
  16. Lake's surgery is being done by the UT Team Dr. that does all of their knee surgeries including Cade Brewer's. Rehab will be through the Dr's in-house PT.
  17. surgery is next week and he is getting the last type of surgery you described.
  18. I love how fluid and elusive he is in the open field. He is also extremely sudden. He will excel in this offense. Great get!
  19. With the great tradition of running backs at UT, from Earl to Metcalf to Ricky, Holmes, Cedric, Jamal, Foreman, and now Ingram, I will never understand a Texas kid passing up the chance to be the next great back at Texas. For the previous 7 or 8 years, I understand. But now? When the program is on the way back, the offensive line is stacking up for years to come, the QB room looks incredible, and skill position players are too numerous to name, I just dont get it. How could you not want to run behind this offensive line for the next 3 or 4 years and play with Sam, Roschon, Hudson, and JaQuinden in the backfield? Insanity for a Texas kid to want to go any other place.
  20. funny enough, he is probably the worst prospect out of that group.
  21. wasnt orakpo 6'2ish and 200 lbs coming out of HS?
