  1. Is this a Russian debate? Why is Tulsi here?
  2. Warren is getting her stride now. Castro is sharp.
  3. eh, the spanish was a little gimmicky but the answer was spot on.
  4. Warren needs to take a deep breath and relax a little. She is out of breath.
  5. i think Beto looked and sounded the most comfortable thus far. Warren was really nervous. Klobuchar was even moreso.
  6. Whoa. You leave Fear Factor out of it and no one will get hurt.
  7. Yeah I don't know. I don't keep up with who is or isn't holding their hand out. I just know I was asking one of the coaches, who is one of our best recruiters and who refuses to make excuses about anything, about what happened with Leal and he said "Jimbo bought him a good one." I followed up with "are you serious?" He said Leal was all Texas until Aggy bought him.
  8. Some may not run "air raid" spread offenses but all of them run the spread offense as opposed to a traditional pro offense.
  9. The staff believes 100% that we lost Leal because he was bought.
  10. Thanks for the heads up. It's my first time posting here.
  11. I think it's decent but not great. Kids today aren't any different than previous generations. It's all the same and always will be the same for teens. The details change but the rest is a constant. As someone with five teens, this series doesnt bother me a bit. If you can't tell if your kid is like the ones in the series, then you failed as a parent.
  12. I was on the same flight as Bijon yesterday. Dude was all smiles wearing burnt orange proudly. If that kid isn't going to Texas, then I don't know much about football. Iow, he is going to Ohio State.
  13. Or you keep Foster at NB to the field and have Ossai on the boundary side and let the offense guess which one is blitzing. Either way, good luck making it around the edge.
  14. i dont think we disagree on much on these points. i think its more in packaging and how you can successfully achieve it. meaning in order to reduce military budgets, you are going to have to package it in terms of reducing overall cost while retaining or increasing efficiency and effectiveness. i dont think it would be wise to actually cut our army by 80% but i understand your point. the only war i would have voted for in the last 20 years is Afghanistan for the sole purpose of striking back at Al Qaeda. I don't think we should have stayed as long as we did and I dont think we should have stepped foot in Iraq. But I do think the threats from Russia and China are real so its important to maintain our alliances around the world.
  15. because the point of the military is to be effective in deterring others and defending our nation. i want no more war as well but we can't pretend like that is something that is solely in our control. we should have a smaller, less costly military that is able to carry out the defense of our nation and allies.
  16. like i would admit to that... you dont think we should focus on reducing our military spend? our military and military budget are horrific examples of bloat and waste. If we could actually reduce both, reward units and divisions for efficiency and encourage a more streamlined effective approach, then we would actually improve our military while reducing our budget. instead we encourage waste and bloat through stupid budgetary policies of "use it or lose it" resulting in stockpiles of supplies we don't currently need.
  17. they dont. that was my point. we should focus on making our military more efficient and effective.
  18. i disagree. i think the difference is huge and it what leads to political votes instead of what makes the most sense for our nation.
  19. i still dont understand why people think Hillary is "pro-war." i think her foreign policy would have been pretty conservative in nature and mirrored Obama's more or less.
  20. there is a difference between pushing for increases and voting to increase the military budget.
  21. i dont see a whole lot of liberals pushing for increases to the military budget. i think the rest is about diplomacy not war and disagree they are pushing towards war with diplomatic actions. i think its just the opposite that they are suggesting and pushing policies and proposals that move away from war in favor of diplomatic alternatives that will address the issues. thats the responsible course whether they are conservative or liberal.
  22. is there a "pro-war liberal position?" if it exists, i havent seen it. i dont think anyone criticizing trump's indecisiveness are saying they wish he would have let it happen. i think they are saying that he should have been asking that question BEFORE the operation began not during. if you pull out your weapon, you better use it. and that doesnt mean anyone other than bolton wanted him to use it. he shouldnt have ever pulled it out to begin with if he wasnt 100% certain to follow through. the hesitation, indecisiveness will be perceived as weakness by our enemies. its that simple.
