  1. no sarcasm. plain hard facts.
  2. whoa, whoa, whoa... you got married?
  3. kinda but not really. this is like who wouldnt rather live in Austin, Texas with a degree from Texas than fucking silicon valley after four years at Stanford? seriously, its a no brainer. UT, Austin, and the Hill Country are way better than Stanford, SF and Napa.
  4. i heard that Braun transfer kid is also considering Stanford, but thats no concern to us right? I mean Texas's academics and athletics are better than Stanford.
  5. fuck that both sides shit too. if someone in congress or the WH has a skeleton in their closet, expose that shit and lets get them out. wtf is wrong with you? the answer to corruption isnt everyone's doing it Dad so its ok! - its fuck that son, everyone that's doing it is going to jail so lets find ones that arent corrupt.
  6. hahahahahaha.... this is a joke right? how many charges are we up to now? 80 something? pleas? convictions? prison sentences. gtfo with that buillshit.
  7. if he didnt do anything wrong, there is nothing to worry about. and yeah the repubs investigated the shit out of hillary, she took it like a man and showed she had nothing to hide. 0 indictments. 0 convictions. a bazillion investigations all created for no reason by the repubs. so yeah, if trump is like hillary and has not done anything wrong, then he should act like hillary and cooperate fully, answer their questions, and encourage a full and transparent investigation. and we will see where it goes... cause either way, its going to happen. so maybe trump should follow ol clayton williams advice and lay back and enjoy it!
  8. i would love to add Haines King to the class but i dont think he is interested.
  9. if we go a week without, there is something wrong. a typical week is multiple times. she is more into it now than when we first met. there is no doubt i am a lucky man.
  10. the signs inside that jetway are hilarious.
  11. as someone who flies Delta in and out of Austin every week, I am excited for the expansion and Sky club to open!
  12. Congrats to you and your daughter! Nice job Dad.
  13. My wife and I ran our first half at 3M. We have run several 10ks prior to the 3M Half. We had a great time and will be running the Austin Half next and then plan on running a full sometime later this year. Looking forward to following along with everyone.
  14. Lake Tahoe, North side.
  15. the best dog i have ever had was a Bull Mastiff. He was an incredible dog. People would cross the street to avoid him when we went on walks. He looked like a 150 lb pit bull on steroids if you didnt know what a Bull Mastiff is. He was kind and gentle with his family but if you were a stranger, it was a different story. He didnt really bark. He would sit in between us and strangers. If he saw that we accepted the stranger, he would get up and trot off. If he felt we were at unease with the stranger, he would stay there sitting until the stranger made a move in our direction and then would, without barking or growling, take them down with his massive head and neck. Once they were laying on the ground, he would stand over them, show his teeth, and eerily growl the deepest lowest growl you have ever heard. He was amazing. Cancer took him from us when he was only 6. Its been almost 8 years now and I still miss him. His name was Rex and he was the greatest dog of all time.
  16. Congrats!
  17. Don't do it...
  18. fuckin a bubba!
  19. i think he is the 3rd dual threat in the 247 composite rankings so im not sure why you are acting like what i said was a gross exaggeration. but whatever. what i meant is he is the best QB i have seen in that class. i havent seen all of them and did not flatly claim is the best. but yeah i think he is up there and going by his ranking and Texas's belief in him, I dont think i am far off if at all. he has a good arm. stronger than charlie brewer but not quite as strong as baldwin or gilbert. probably similar to mayfield.
  20. Got it. I disagree on the body type and havent paid attention to his hands. His body is that of an athlete, nothing like Case McCoy at all. He runs a legit 4.6 40, and low 4 sec shuttles. Kid is sudden with a really good arm. If you have ever seen his family, you wouldnt worry about adding weight. Father and brother are pretty thickly built. He is lean but wiry right now but he is exactly what I want a Jr Qb who relies on quickness and speed to look like at this age. As for the QB1 vs QB2 talk, I can tall you that in a long line of LT QBs, Card is regarded by the LT coaching staff to be in the top 3 best QB talents to ever wear the LT helmet. If there is a better QB in the 2020 class, I havent seen him. The best thing I can tell you about Card is the kid loves to compete. He doesnt shy away from the big stage nor is intimidated by it. He looked bad against Westlake and Northshore because the LT o-line was dogshit this year. If you want to see how good he can be, go watch the Judson playoff game. He isnt worried about competing against Roschon or any other QB in the 2020 or 2021 classes. And Herman LOVES Card. Herman and staff believe Card is the real deal and are extremely happy to have him onboard.
  21. Honest question, what do you think are his limiting physical attributes?
  22. Herman and Beck were at LT today checking in on Card and a few other players. Herman spent a few hours with Carter and Stein relationship building.
  23. Has anyone ever stopped into Peju's? We went a few years ago and really enjoyed the intimate setting. Great wine and even better experience.
  24. We did Bryce Canyon and Zion this past summer. We camped at both. But there are plenty of lodging choices inside and right outside the parks. I think Angel's Landing is closed for the foreseeable future. It was destroyed in a rock slide this past summer. Great hikes all around and two really wonderful parks. Zion larger, more like Grand Canyon in feel. Bryce Canyon more intimate. We enjoyed both. Make sure to do the Ranger led night sky viewing at Bryce Canyon. It was great. We did the long hike at Bryce, it was awesome. And the longest one at Zion. It was incredible. We also did the Narrows at Zion. It was really unique hike.
  25. Finished the Alchemist (loved it), then read Fahrenheit 451 (couldnt put it down), and now reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and The Call of the Wild by Jack London.
