  1. I hope you are right but i meant that in a different way. Its more a body language/confidence thing. Maybe it goes back to the IT factor. As I said in my original comment I cant put my finger on it. The great QBs in history wanted the game to be on their shoulders in the last few minutes and took their games to a higher level during that time. They didn't always win but you could tell they weren't afraid of the moment or afraid of making mistakes. Ewers never changes, what you see in the first quarter you get in the last two minutes. You never see that sense of urgency. Maybe that's his way of staying calm in the moment but I wonder if that negatively affects his teammates. Maybe it just a personality trait.
  2. 1. VY 2. Street 3. Colt 4. Applewhite 5. Ewers Bobby Lane should probably be in list but I never saw him play and can only go by what I am told and read. VY needs no explanation. Street ran a brand new offense that was being developed on the fly but he had to read the defense to determine which of the three options gave the offense the best opportunity to be successful. Much like the RPO game today. With Colt under center Texas always had a chance to win the game rarely if ever was he the reason for a loss. Applewhite was just a winner, not the most talented or fastest he just found a way to put Texas in a place to win. Ewers has all the tools but something is missing. I can't put a finger on it but in a game winning situation I'm never as comfortable he will get it done. Maybe it his nonchalant demeanor but Ewers never shows the fire and drive that propel his teammates to play better in tough times. VY and Colt seemed to thrive and will their teams to victory under those conditions. It was almost like they knew something the other team didn't. I never have that feeling with Ewers.
  3. Why are two big XII teams playing in the Alamo Bowl
  4. Wouldn't that make them your little sisters
  5. I don’t give a flying fuck who th qb is as long as they kick the shit out of aggy
  6. Sark refuses to have QB controversy. That is where the stubbornness begins and ends. He is NFL light. If the starter can play he’s the QB.
  7. The results will be reported as inconclusive not to give Aggy an indication the Ewers will not start or Arch will start.
  8. Ewers reminds me of a baseball pitcher that’s aiming the ball and not just throwing with confidence
  9. What happens when Ewers draft stock drops and he wants to come back next year?
  10. For my desired outcome you are 100% correct.
  11. OU needs to recruit O linemen. IMO that is what Sark has been best at. You can have the best QB in the history of football and he will struggle if the O line can't give him time for the play to develop. Football games are won at the line of scrimmage.
  12. Kingsbury will have a big year as OC of Washington. Then Jones will hire him as HC.
