  1. The time is nigh for Bligh at mile high.
  2. Pena needs Yordan back quick. Hitting between Altuve and Yordan is only way he can get a pitch he can hit. He ain’t seeing shit in front of Meyers or Maldy at 8 and he isn’t a bad ball hitter. He’s a bad ball swinger and a bad ball misser.
  3. We’ve gone from winning and losing games 3-2 to 10-9. We gonna be here a while.
  4. I second this. I’d love to watch him come here and help the Astros win one. Or he could just say fuck it and hit the bong. Better keep Bligh.
  5. Downloaded that app, connected, restarted my phone and everything works now. Thanks for the help!
  6. Yes. I’ve tried other browsers, changing settings and was coming to the conclusion after others comments that it must be a carrier thing. Imbedded items like tweets work. It’s only jpgs and png type inserts. My iPhone just updated to 16.5 a few days ago also. Might be a factor. Maybe it will work itself out in a few days. I’ll keep researching and let everyone know when it changes or is fixed.
  7. I still wish Astros would have grabbed Moustakos when he was available. Veteran left handed bat to play first, third and DH. Had 2 HR and robbed of a third. Angels got him for a bag of donuts. Sure would have looked better on the bench than something named Bligh. Que sera sera. If we insist on playing Maldonado and being forced to pinch hit for him, it would be nice to have someone that won’t be shitting in their pants while doing it and has been there before. Add it to the list.
  8. Damn I’ve never seen so many balls hit to the top of the wall for outs. By both teams.
  9. McCormick professional at bat. Diaz rookie at bat. Meyers typical at bat. Bases left loaded
  10. Marisnick on the Dodgers and Bellinger on the Astros. Bizarro world.
  11. I wasn’t saying we are sellers or should be sellers. I was saying that if you look at it from that standpoint we don’t have a lot of individual pieces in our everyday lineup that others would likely pay a premium for at the deadline to put them over the top. In that regard it’s a credit to them that we are in playoff position without a whole lot from Altuve or, lately, Yordan.
  12. I was going to say this last night in the middle of my drunken rage but it is pretty true that if we were to become sellers who in our everyday lineup would anyone want besides Tucker? Dubon??? Speaking of as it’s been constructed most of the year without Yordan and Altuve. We are lucky to even be able to see first place and it’s been pitching that’s kept us in it and if that goes to hell we may as well start planning those fall bbqs around college and preseason football. Obviously Yordan is a huge presence and changes the lineup but overall the position players and especially the bench just aren’t all that good this year. And now the bullpen is going to shit. If this thing does get turned around and result in a long playoff run it will have been one hell of a rollercoaster ride.
  13. Isn’t that pulled calf thing what Verlander did bouncing off the mound last year? Was out a few weeks?
  14. GLASStros this year. Fragile. Handle with care.
  15. Besides 3,4 and 5 everything else is names in a hat
  16. Right. I was going to say that also but I just enjoy the ironic comedy of the growth of interpreters now a days and then watching them all talk to each other or watching them nod as Julia asks them a question and then wait for the interpreter lol. Says a lot more about toxic media and culture than their language skills. Anyway, back to baseball!
  17. Ohtani and Abreu talking and laughing at first base and both use interpreters in interviews. The “no speak english”charade by players today is comical.
  18. Dusty forgot about Diaz over the break. Somebody hang a picture in the managers office.
  19. Wow. None in top 100. Meh. They just get to the show and keep winning.
  20. It will be great to have baseball back again tonight! Doing nothing but reading crazy trade rumors is driving me nuts
  21. If I’m the Angels I’m specifically trying to trade Ohtani to the Astros or Rangers and pull as many of their assets as I can. They probably know Ohtani will never sign back with either of them to stay in Texas, they weaken their divisional opponents future depth moving forward and make themselves better at the same time. Assuming either of them have anything worth trading for equal or better to what is being offered. And they can still try to resign him after the season. Does that make sense to anyone but me? Lol
  22. 17 years old. Hit over .600 and throws 93 from the mound. Ohtani who?
