  1. Can we name Espada the manager-in-waiting? I mean it’s worked so well in college football lol I was really hoping we would win Dusty his WS this year and he would ride off into the sunset. Not because he is a bad manager but just for the long term success and continuity of the team. We still have a young core and obviously Dusty can’t go on forever. But anyone who saw his interview yesterday knew he wasn’t leaving and it would take some big stones by the Astros to ask him to leave. He said if he wins one then he wants to win two and TBS called him a MLB legend and a hero and role model for black and Latino players. Don’t disagree with any of that but the PR blow back would be huge if Astros asked him to leave even to hire Espada who is Latino. See you with a ring in ‘23, Dusty.
  2. Wow is all I can say.
  3. I should know that. Lol Happens every time. I hope we score some runs so we see Dubon
  4. If the roof was closed Mancini might PH for Diaz next time but does anyone trust Mancini in the wind in left? I guess Dubon could play left. And I’d rather have Frambers breaking shit against Abreu fastballs next inning against Judge and Stanton.
  5. Sometimes I just wondered if he didn’t realize that a AAA throw won’t work in the big time. But his throws did start weak and have gotten better.
  6. Nice play Peña
  7. Altuve was as hot as he could be at seasons end. The layoff affect is real.
  8. Altuve looking for Mancini-esque.
  9. That wind is crazy. Our outfield is shaky as it is, having roof open wasn’t a smart decision if it was ours.
  10. This ump is trash. How the f is he in a championship series?
  11. Well I think there’s our lineup answer
  12. I would not hate Hensley getting a chance. I really don’t remember a bad at bat from him. I’d rather see him get his feet wet at home than at Yankee stadium but I also expect Mancini to be at DH or LF tonight.
  13. So we thinking same lineup tonight?
  14. I don’t know who has wanted what but it seems it always been a league decision. At least this last run of playoffs. As for esthetics, I love open air stadiums. And going to be a great night. But for the Astros, I can see where it can feel like you have lived in a house for 10 years and walk in and the furniture has been moved. Same house, same furniture but something doesn’t feel quite right. Don’t think it will or should be an issue but the home field advantage is about being comfortable in your house. Any decision against what the Astros want is bogus.
  15. MLB network is saying the roof will be open tonight. Curious decision if true after all the precedents of the league having roof closed.
  16. A sports haiku Yankees had high hopes Astros hit balls high and far Screw your hope Yankees
  17. Verlander and the Chas chomp 😂
  18. That hurt. Fucking bad.
  19. Well that number came randomly to me even though I know he is 26 so I feel the stars are aligning. MVP Mancini. Show me a loss. So I guess Chas is the regular CF now? Surely we aren’t starting Dubon in the ALCS.
  20. It’s like betting on black for 26 rolls on the wheel and you lose everytime but you keep betting it because you know it’s gonna hit any roll now…
  21. Today is the day Mancini breaks out. He’s more over due than Jerry Seinfeld’s library book.
  22. I need new pants now
  23. Let’s go Pressly. Wtfing fuck
