  5. I've always preferred my Tex-Mex enchiladas to use a chili con carne sauce. Where's the beef?!?

  9. Yeah, I think you may have a point. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/08/16/ceos-see-pay-grow-1000percent-and-now-make-278-times-the-average-worker.html
  10. Since you're moving from New York, I will suggest Cary, aka containment area for relocated yankees.
  11. That's insane in the membrane!
  12. Did you get a chimichanga from Allsup's to make up for your bad Whataburger experience?

  16. You know, the only live music I saw were the street performers in the French Quarter.
  17. A lot of stuff is still open. Tours are still available. You can still get your drink on at restaurants, but you have to buy food, and cannot get to-go drinks. However, two easy solutions are if you're not really hungry you can buy the cheapest appetizer or side on the menu. With that purchase you can sit there and down as many drinks as you want. Also, there are convenience stores all around where you can buy beer and liquor, go outside, open it up and walk around no problem. Something I did one of the days was buy a $3 Jazzy Pass, which gives you unlimited streetcar rides for 24 hours. I think I rode the length of every streetcar line in the city, hopping on and off to check out cool neighborhoods, and grab a bite and a few beers whenever I wanted. I never waited more than 10 minutes when I wanted to hop back on the streetcar. I also went to Harrah's Casino, and rode the ferry across the Mississippi. I thought there was still plenty to do, and had a great time.
  18. Yes, no, well maybe. They have one "cargo" pocket on the right leg. But they are Columbia brand, and are moisture wicking, UV blocking, performance gear suited for whatever adventure awaits! So that makes it alright, right?
  19. If you have not been, I strongly suggest a visit to the WW2 Museum next time you're in New Orleans. I just spent 7-8 hours there, and it was most definitely worth the price of admission.
  20. I think I want to move here. This place is special, even when Covid-19 is putting a damper on everything.
  21. And now it's French Quarter time. What's the place known for it's Muffuletta?
  22. And though tempted to simply enjoy the Bloody Marys, I did indeed eat as well. Behold, the "Trifecta"...
  23. 1/2 price Bloody Marys on Tuesday morning?!? Yes, please!
