Former B12 Teams ~ Better Off?
But since that's all dust in the wind, I still think Texas, Tech, Oklahoma, and OSU should look westward, and form the Pac-16.

Former B12 Teams ~ Better Off?
I'm obviously in the minority, but I miss the days of the original Big 12. Not that aggy and corn aggy aren't little bitches, but I'd prefer them along with Mizzou and Colorado over fucking TCU and West Virginia any fucking day. The Big 12 was a legit conference back in the day. Just my opinion, but these days it just doesn't seem that way. And West Virginia just does not belong in the conference. It's ridiculous.

A few pics I snapped on my lunch break today. You've got some Hanover Republic Square, Parsley Energy, Indeed, Zaza, and 4th and Colorado.

Texas Approves $100M Licensing Deal
Needs a touch of Gray.

Uniform Pron
Texas should begin incorporating the color Gray into it's football uniforms. The baseball and basketball teams already do, and I believe Gray and Burnt Orange look damn good together. I think we all agree Black on the uniform would be an abomination, but a touch of Gray here and there would look dope as fuck IMHO. Discuss.

ABIA Expansion Thread
Lulz. Just saying it's seems to be common amongst people who don't keep up with such things to think of Austin as much smaller than it really is. They think of it's peers such as San Antonio, or Indianapolis, or Kansas City, etc. as cities that are "much larger" than Austin cuz they all used to be...

ABIA Expansion Thread
Believe it or not the San Antonio metro is not much bigger than the Austin metro anymore. SA is around 2.5 million while lil ole Austin is around 2.2 million. And Austin has a larger economy, is wealthier, has a larger and busier airport with more destinations, is growing faster.... Not slamming SA, but some folks don't realize how much Austin's grown. The last few decades have seen phenomenal growth in the greater Austin area.

Austin FC
The Austin FC training jersey was supposedly leaked. It looks pretty good. I really like the green and black color scheme. I know St. David's bought the naming rights to the training facility and the practice jersey so I'm sure their name will be on them as well. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2019/11/new-mls-team-from-2021-ausitn-fc-2020-training-kit.html

Austin FC
Another thing I've been wondering is who will become Austin FC's USL affiliate? The Austin Bold would be just about optimal in theory, but after Epstein's shenanigans I doubt that will ever happen. Would've been cool, though. They could be rebranded Austin FC 2, and still play out at the COTA stadium. Everyone wins.

New UT Basketball Arena
This thread’s going to the next level.

New UT Basketball Arena
There’s no way that latest interior render is accurate. That looks to have a capacity of about 5,000 tops, if even that. It looks like a decent place for AISD high school teams to play.

Watching Texas vs. OU sucks in Austin?
I heard there’s gonna be a watch party at Derka’s pad, but you gotta RSVP.

Houston is a shithole
Houston homeboys got such a little man syndrome that they need to disparage others in order to try and build themselves up. It’s not very flattering.

You need to get out more if you think one shopping center constitutes Austin’s “Chinatown”. Truthfully, Austin doesn’t have one strip, or compact geographic area which would be called a Chinatown. However, the northern quadrant of the city is home to the vast majority of Austin’s Asian population, and their associated markets, restaurants, etc. It just so happens to be more spread out, and thus not as noticeable. Its also worth noting Austin has the highest percentage of it’s population identifying as Asian of any of the large Texas cities, And Asians are also the fastest growing group in Austin. “Asians in Austin are the fastest growing demographic group, doubling roughly every 12 years. Asian Americans comprise 8% of the City of Austin's population and this ranking puts Austin 9th in the country.” http://www.austinasianchamber.org/asian-data
