  1. Agree to disagree. They lost 3 of their last 4 games, got swept by the dolphins, and Mac Jones started hitting a wall late in the year. They’re limping into the playoffs. I’d be shocked if Buffalo lost that one
  2. Yeah hand up I forgot about the Steelers.
  3. So many questionable opinions in his post
  4. Every nfc contender has beat another really strong nfc contender. We had two shots at that. TB and Arizona. We lost both. We don’t have a signature win this year that you can point to that gives you confidence that we can make a run. All the impressive performances have been close losses or against objectively bad teams. I don’t think NE is a good team. I think they backdoor’d into the playoffs and are the worst team in the afc in the playoffs.
  5. That’s fair. To your point we got Arizona, Minnesota, and New England for being in 3rd place. My point still stands though. We feasted on the bad teams this year and lost to most of the mediocre to good teams.
  6. I want to agree with you but what is our most impressive win this year? The patriots against a green Mac Jones that got swept by the dolphins? The chargers who didn’t make the playoffs? We’ve had opportunities against competent teams this year and we’ve looked like shit. I think we had the benefit of a 3rd place nfc schedule and a bad division. I hope I’m wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if SF just ran the ball down our throat and our offense struggles.
  7. Had a wedding to go to this Saturday so I dodged a bullet. LFG
  8. We stop the run, we win. We don’t, we lose. Jimmy g ain’t gonna beat us. Kyle Shanahan’s zone run scheme can beat us. Also, prepare to be the trendy upset pick this week. That may not be the worst thing in the world
  9. Because I think they will have a clear answer at qb, even if that is Watson. That team is a qb away of being really good. It’s probably the best job opening up
  10. There’s a 100% chance Dan takes this job if offered.
  11. Looking like watt is going to be back for the first week of the playoffs. So get ready for him to make a big play against us as part of his comeback player story
  12. I’m convinced that team drs are doing fudging things this week so we can have extra roster spots to rest starters. It makes sense
  13. His drop in play correlates with the broncos finding the blueprint for stopping our offense. And Dak has never been a great runner. He looks the same running the ball. He’s actually more willing to run now (over the last 2 games) than he has been in the last few years. He looked great against the falcons and the WFT covid practice squad. Also, when I say I’m not buying the Dak is injured bit, I’m not saying he may not have some lingering effects. What I’m saying is, it isn’t hampering him. He looks fine from a physical standpoint. He just isn’t trusting what he sees. also. Let me reiterate. I didn’t say he was the problem. The run game being non existent is the problem. Whether that’s scheme or jimmy’s and joes, that’s the problem. Dak slumping correlates directly with our run game going from dominant to non existent. I just think he CAN play better. That’s all I’m saying. I don’t think that’s even up for debate.
  14. I agree with what you’re saying for the most part. I dont think Dak was the issue. I just know he can be better because we’ve all seen him be better. He isn’t playing his best football right now, and he’s even admitted as much. He’s been off on a lot of his throws. Even a lot of the ones that are completed just seem off. Behind guys that have 10 extra yards after the catch if they’re hit in stride. The run game is what it is. It ain’t getting better. I get that’s the main reason for the struggles of our offense but that’s not getting better this year. Dak and the wrs can absolutely play better and it should be better this year. Not to what it was at the beginning of the year, but better than 7 fucking points at home against a depleted cardinals defense that will have those starters back next time we see them. The defense played well enough to win yesterday. Kyler is dynamic and he’s a matchup nightmare for us. But they played well enough on that side of the ball.
  15. I’m not buying the Dak’s injured bit. Everyone is dealing with something right now. We’re damn near 10 weeks removed from that injury. Dak looks fine when he takes off and runs. He looks like he’s always looked. It looks like he’s almost second guessing what he’s seeing out there and he isn’t letting it rip like when he’s feeling it. We’ve seen it in spurts even since his injury, but with no consistency. Not being able to run the ball is the biggest issue with the offense because it’s putting more on Dak’s plate than he (or most qbs) can handle. Other than KC and Buffalo, all the other good offenses have some type of consistent running game. Dak looked better the first half of the year because our run game was firing on all cylinders.
  16. Which is why I want no part in an Arizona rematch. Kyler is a unique matchup for our defense. If the pass rush doesn’t get home, we’re in trouble. The rams are a better team but I can see our pass rush getting to Stafford. I can definitely see it getting to jimmy g. I think we get bounced in the first round no matter what (now that we’re the 4 seed) but I definitely think we get bounced if we play AZ again.
  17. I don’t think anyone is qualified to defend Kyler if he’s actually a willing runner like he was yesterday. They have the same 40 time, but Kyler is a slippery as any qb I’ve ever seen. He has next level quickness and elusiveness
  18. Well we aren’t going to play our starters, so… At this point we’re basically locked into the 4 seed. Nothing to play for
  19. Say what you want about PFF, but this is the reason Diggs gets the grade he gets from them. Turnovers aren’t a predictive stat. In a lot of ways it’s out of your control. I love Diggs and his ball hawking ability, but that’s not great, Bob.
  20. He was only part of the problem today but god damn…
  21. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but midget is undefeated at AT&T stadium. It’s inevitable. The game will probably go the exact same way, to be honest. Except they’ll have some of their defensive starters back.
