  1. Saw it Sunday, not on IMAX or 4D (lol). The art direction, cinematography and score are works of art and a pinnacle of achievement in those fields, imo. The acting and writing/adaptation are good but not at that level. Overall, I'd say its a very good movie and I'm going to try to see it again in IMAX (we do not have one close to us).
  2. I'm sure they improve one or more corporations monthly earnings call, so I'm sorry, there's simply nothing that can be done.
  3. None of the fanbois want to be fucked by Elon. That would be gay. They just want to blow him to completion to absorb some of his greatness via jizz.
  4. That P90 thinline cabronita from Sire that I posted the pic of is a new model and won’t be available until August/September.

  7. All my experience with wildfire is here in Colorado. The usual strategy they use here for a big fire is to try to make hard lines to protect humans and homes, but to go ahead and let the fire spread freely up the mountains assuming there is no population between the fire and the top. It kind of races up the mountain to the tree line, then there's nothing left to burn and it dies. A lot of that depends on weather conditions. Given the completely different geography of the panhandle, I don't know how that strategy changes. I will say, there aren't enough fire fighters in the world to make a perimeter around a 900,000 acre forest fire. I am guessing they are going to want to pick places to burn to try to direct it back into its own burn path where it can't burn forward into an already scorched land. Like that Tron light cycle game.
  8. 900,000 acres puts it as the #4 size wildfire by acres burned in U.S. history. Am guessing it has a strong chance to pass #2, the 2020 August Complex fire in CA that burned 1,032,648 acres. #1 is the 1825 Miramichi Fire that burned 3 million acres.
  9. Given the thread title, I thought this was going to be the Presidential debate thread.
  10. Most wildfires are like that. When conditions are bad, and they are often bad these days (all 10 of Colorado's biggest wildfires in history are in the last 22 years), you can go from "Oh, there's a 50 acre wildfire 10 miles away" to "OH FUCK JUMP IN THE CAR WE NEED TO EVACUATE ASAP" in a couple of hours.
  11. i believe her when she says she has never been an escort <long pause> for Senator Ted Cruz.
  12. You made me go look at Sires, you bastard.
  13. This is the funniest shit I've read here in a long time. He's a real undercover brother, aint he? Kudos.
  14. Serious question: If you exorcise MAGA from the GOP, what's left at this point? Mitt Romney and who else? The Joe Strauses have retired. The McCain's have moved on to the great congressional hearing in the sky.
  15. I know a lot of dog breeders and the average dog breeder is a morally dubious money-for-nothing entrepreneur wannabe that doesn't have the means or ability to succeed as one otherwise. They think they can get 2 dogs to fuck and drop a litter of puppies and pocket $10K and that's all there is to it. There is very little concern for the welfare of the dogs or the families they go to. Things like testing, vaccinations, adequate food -- these are costs that cut into their margin and corners are cut. The kicker is that every dog breeding program eventually runs into this problem -- a dog lives a lot longer than they will be able to produce your product. As the dogs age and become non-breeders, a program has a growing number of dogs that bring no money in but that cost the same as the dogs that are bringing money in. Tough choices have to be made, and you more often than not have a Joe Exotic type making them. So my reaction to Pit Bulls eating their breeder is: My reaction to Pit Bulls being euthanized because they ate their breeder is:
