  1. After watching the all-22 my thoughts are - Not finding an adequate blocking replacement for Schultz is a fireable offense. The oline run blocking isn't that bad. Kellen Moore's dumb ass just needs to stick to the run. If Dak could throw a post route it would open this offense up a lot. Dak is seeing ghosts in the pocket which is leading to a lot of checkdowns. TRUST YOUR PROTECTION, receivers are getting open if he's just a half second more patient.
  2. Waited patiently the last two months for this offense to eventually "get it", flip a switch, and start looking like they did earlier in the season. Here we are on the eve of the playoffs and we're still talking about the same issues. It's frustrating because we've waited decades for a defense like this. The fact that the offense decides now to disappear shows you how cursed this franchise is.
  3. Piss poor quarterback play for the greater part of the second half of the season. The face that Dak, his QB coach, and the OC can't stop the bleeding has me thinking this is going to be a one and done playoff.
  4. I wish our Longhorns played with the heart and physicality of these Baylor Bears. Imagine saying that 20 years ago.
  5. For this signing day, discussion on IT & OB>>> Oline class is great. It will be phenomenal if we close on Campbell. Now just get them a proper S&C coach to develop them.
  6. A&M will probably finish with the best class in 247 history while going 8-4 and losing their best coach.
  7. @texifornia posting just for your bitch ass. Mike Farrell in regards to Ryan Watts -- "He is so good by the way. He is so good. His potential is 1st round. [Ketch: "Really?"] Because I talk to a lot of the defensive backs & wide receivers on that Ohio State team heading into the season, because you know....I'm doing college football now. And THAT'S the guy they talked about over and over again with the highest upside! You know, it wasn't Sevyn Banks. It wasn't anybody else. It was Watts."
  8. Nahlin-- I have to switch my pick to A&M. I apologize to those that have a lot of trust in me to predict these difficult recruitments correctly. I don’t believe he has signed an LOI but when he does I find it unlikely it will be for UT.
  9. Stewart is going to hurt. Thought for sure that kid had another diva moment left in him. I guess the signing bonus is out of this world. I still can't imagine a high-maintenance Frisco kid spending 3 years in that shithole so we'll see. Regardless, Coleman should be served his papers tomorrow. He stepped into the position by being the anti-Mehringer but this shit has run its course.
  10. His calf problems have nothing to do with his inability to see the field right now.
  11. Dak has been a scrub for a month now. What's up with him.
  12. IT -- Ohio State transfer quarterback Quinn Ewers (Southlake Carroll, TX) is expected to visit Texas on Saturday. This will be his second face-to-face meeting with Steve Sarkisian since he entered the transfer portal last Friday. Along with Ewers, Texas is trying to get its remaining targets to campus one last time before National Signing Day next Wednesday. IT will have more on that as the week unfolds. One other player who may visit is North Shore five-star cornerback Denver Harris. Harris has to work around a playoff game in Round Rock on Saturday. A factor IT believes helped UT gain serious traction in this recruitment is the feedback Ewers has received from his original classmates. Though he reclassified to the 2021 class and spent a season in Columbus, next Wednesday was to be his original signing day. Since entering the portal, Ewers has mentioned he wants to help recruit players to the school of his choosing. Texas is certainly greater than Texas Tech in that regard. The familiarity Ewers has with many in the class has allowed him to do homework on where guys are leaning. Throughout that reconnaissance, Texas has fared well. Something to keep in mind, however, Texas A&M is making one final push to host common targets as well. Texas is oh so close to establishing momentum down the final stretch, but a little work remains. If Ewers selects Texas, as IT expects, the visit Saturday is the potential stick of dynamite to loosen a recruiting avalanche.
  13. Nahlin just posted this --
  14. Has Terry ever commented on the under the table shenanigans from the $EC or did he turn a blind eye because it helped make him rich?
  15. One of the few decent insiders on the pay sites over the years.
