  1. ROFL this is so embarrassing. WOW.
  2. She is the best presidential candidate I've ever seen. I'm gutted today. Progressivism took a big L with this one. She was the hardest working, smartest, most thoughtful candidate in this race. Sexism and Bernie sucking up all the air on the left killed her.
  3. Good article from Ezra Klein. Bernie is probably too old to change now, but he might want to heed this advice if he's serious about winning. The scorched Earth approach is not going to get him over the hump.
  4. Same guy who says he will fight for Trump voters and has the political chops to get M4A through Congress didn't attempt to win over the most powerful black pol in Congress and the South b/c he's a moderate Dem. You guys honestly don't see anything wrong with this picture?
  5. Just because he said he wasn't going to endorse, doesn't mean you don't try to engage him and change his mind. Just like he's fighting for the support of Trump voters, he should have done the same for Clyburn. The fact that Clyburn broke whatever unwritten rule he had for himself should show you how little he thinks of Bernie and how pitiful Bernie's alliances are within the party.
  6. Why are you excusing him not reaching out to one of the most powerful voices in Congress & America? Do you guys even want to win?
  7. And he probably would have if he had a better relationship w/ Bernie. After '16, I think Bernie would have gained some goodwill in the party if he remained a Democrat, build better bonds w/ the CBC, etc., and created a more nuanced message about the "establishment". The rabble rouser/go it alone approach is so counter-productive.
  8. The old black women who go to church 3x a week and vote in every election don't care about some damn rappers. Most of them hate rap. And Nina Turner is totally incompetent. Bernie is looking funny in the light allowing this to happen again.
  9. @bad_teammate @washparkhorn This is amateur hour stuff from Bernie. Particularly after this bit him in the butt in '16. Dude is just pouring jelly on himself by refusing to play the political game.
  10. 5.5 hour wait to vote at Texas Southern. I wonder how long the waits were at SMU.
  11. Justice Democrats continue to rack up L's.
  12. Since when did Texas start having separate lines for R's and D's. My brother at UT said he didn't have to do that. Is it just a DFW thing? Dem was longer by the way. R's are losing their grip on Collin County.
  13. There has to be a mentally illness associated with these deplorables.
  14. Begala thinks Trump eventually dumps Pence for Haley and uses his handling of the virus as an excuse. https://thehill.com/homenews/media/485562-cnns-begala-trump-will-dump-pence-for-haley-on-day-of-democratic-nominees
  15. I question whether the Iraq War moves the majority of voters still today, but this is a good ad from Bernie.
  16. Random question I guess for someone who has worked on a campaign before - How does the accuracy of internal polling campaigns conduct compare to the accuracy of the polling down by some of the public pollsters we get all the time (Quinnipac, Emerson, etc.)?
  17. The fact that we're relying on a couple of 70+ year olds to save this country is a depressing thought. Bernie looked really bad yesterday at his rally in NC, Biden always looks/sounds terrible but Bernie's health really concerns me. It just reminds how perplexing it is to me that people like Stacey Abrams, Sherrod Brown and Mayor Landrieu decided not to enter the race. I think all of them would have been really successful if they had showed some damn ambition and hopped in the water. Gen X (pols) have been a total letdown this cycle.
  18. Same. Lines be damned I felt some big changes were coming post-SC.
  19. I still think Biden is who Trump fears the most b/c if he's on his game like he was tonight, he will crush Trump.
  20. Have you accounted for the Republicans voting for Bernie?
  21. Oh ya for sure. A few days ago someone called her shrill in the debate thread so I know sexism is hurting her with voters. I was referring more to the pols in the Democratic party. Many of them seem content riding this Biden train until the wheels fall off when they have a freaking DEMOCRAT prodigy right under their nose.
